Supreme Court Justice Alito Sworn In

Alito Sworn In as Nation's 110th Supreme Court Justice
Samuel Alito was sworn in as the nation's 110th Supreme Court justice on Tuesday, less than two hours after the Senate voted 58-42 to confirm him to the nation's highest court.
"Sam Alito is a brilliant and fair-minded judge who strictly interprets the Constitution and laws and does not legislate from the bench. He is a man of deep character and integrity, and he will make all Americans proud as a justice on our highest court," President Bush said in a statement.
Chief Justice John Roberts administered the judicial oath and constitutional oath, by which Alito pledged equal justice for the rich and the poor and to uphold the Constitution, respectively. It was the first time the nation's new chief justice has ever administered the oaths to an associate justice. click here for full story

Babble Links To Humor

One of my VERY favorite blogs is Chatterbox Chronicles aka Little Miss Chatterbox. Her latest post will have you in stitches, well the one before that will too - both are hilarious. (LOL) Check out LMC Smorgasbord , she has video clips that are “Rolling on the Floor Funny” I hope all goes over, visits, and leaves a funny comment.

The two video clips features Will Ferrell from SNL pretending to be George W. Bush and the other (WARNING strong language) of Dave Chappelle showing us what a Black Bush would be like. Little Miss Chatterbox also posted cartoons and links that you will enjoy. Thanks for the laughs LMC, I loved it. (smiling)

A Disgusting Newspaper the LA Times

Bill O’Reilly and Tammy Bruce discussed tonight the column written by Joel Stein at the LA Times on The O'Reilly Factor. It made me sick to hear about this guy and what he wrote in his column. Not only is Joel Stein a disgrace but the LA Times is just as bad for publishing it.
This is an excerpt from his column:

Warriors and wusses
I DON'T SUPPORT our troops. This is a particularly difficult opinion to have, especially if you are the kind of person who likes to put bumper stickers on his car. Supporting the troops is a position that even Calvin is unwilling to urinate on.

I'm sure I'd like the troops. They seem gutsy, young and up for anything. If you're wandering into a recruiter's office and signing up for eight years of unknown danger, I want to hang with you in Vegas.

And I've got no problem with other people — the ones who were for the Iraq war — supporting the troops. If you think invading Iraq was a good idea, then by all means, support away. Load up on those patriotic magnets and bracelets and other trinkets the Chinese are making money off of.But I'm not for the war. And being against the war and saying you support the troops is one of the wussiest positions the pacifists have ever taken — and they're wussy by definition. It's as if the one lesson they took away from Vietnam wasn't to avoid foreign conflicts with no pressing national interest but to remember to throw a parade afterward.
The rest of the column at the LA Times

Don’t you think that columns like this... hurt military families that read it? What is wrong with these far left wing newspapers including the worst N.Y. Times? And the far left wonders why people like me and others are leaning more to the right every single day. This is down right WRONG to publish such garbage. This makes me want to throw-up!!! But I feel PEOPLE should know about this and it motivates me to report just how ugly these people can be. I guess Barbara loves him!!

Hillary and the Wal-Mart Connection

Senator pushes for Wal-Mart's contribution to workers' health plans, but is unclear whether she took that stand as retailer's board member
Excerpts below:
WASHINGTON -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton wants Wal-Mart to contribute to health insurance for its employees - but can't recall if she pushed for worker benefits during six years as a paid board member for the nation's largest retailer.

Asked if she had advocated better benefits while serving as a board member with Arkansas-based Wal-Mart from 1986 to 1991, Clinton replied, "Well, you know, I, that was a long time ago ... have to remember," adding that "obviously I believe every company should" contribute to benefit plans. Cloture Vote on the Senate Floor

This is a vote (happening now) on whether to cut off debate (A SHUT UP VOTE) on the nomination. Cloture requires 60 votes. Let us TAKE NOTE that Senator John Kerry flew back from Switzerland to get into the spotlight last week, and to give a Senate floor SPEECH on his PUSH to filibuster the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Alito with Senator Ted Kennedy chiming in as a duet.
I am sure this cloture vote will pass. Now on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. our Senators will vote again. I can’t imagine what Judge Alito’s family must be going through with all this non-sense and delays for an up and down vote.

Tune in Live on C-SPAN2 to listen for yourself!! Right now, Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) is speaking the truth about what the democrats are doing.

UPDATE: Alito Filibuster Fails, Final Confirmation Vote Expected Tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! WooHoo!
(72 votes agreed)

Tech Support: I want to SCREAM

Have you ever been on the phone for 3+ hours with tech support?

First off, I rarely use the phone and if I do, it is short conversations. This past week I have spent half days on the phone with DSL, Microsoft, and Dell Computers. After a few minutes ago hanging up, I am totally exhausted. I know to always ask for supervisors or managers and I am extremely friendly but give me a break. (I usually have the patience of a saint, but perhaps with age not sure really but sometimes my nerves get on edge these days.) Not only do you go through a series of options to select from but once you do get a voice speaking real person they put you on hold, transfer or refer you to another 800 number department. Out of the 4 people that I spoke with this morning, one did not speak English, if he did I guarantee you that not one of you could understand it. The conversation went WHAT, Pardon Me, what was that again, please repeat that number, yes or no, and ON AND ON!! To finally I said just give me your badge # , I then followed with I will hold as long as it takes to speak with your supervisor. I know I am ranting but I am angry.
Why do companies transfer you to another country to speak with heavily accented people that hate Americans?
By the attitude of this man he was so rude and made comment to me being from America. If I had not been on the phone for so long, I would have hung up like I did with Microsoft with this woman speaking the same way.
Ok the good news, all is finally worked out and the part and a technician will come to my home at no charge with an upgrade to the part needed. Now I feel better…but still worn out from pacing the floor with the phone in my ear, not sure how people do that all day at work. Thanks for listening!! (smiling)

Cindy GO HOME, STAY and SHUT UP

As if we do not have enough moonbats in Washington, now Ms Sheedan is considering running for Senate! This is outrageously hilarious. For all of you in CA, Mama Cindy wants Democrat Senator (D-CA) Diane Feinstein’s job. (excerpts below)

Feinstein vs. Sheehan
Sheehan, 48, who lives in Berkeley, Calif., accused Feinstein of being out-of-touch with Californians on Iraq.
"She voted for the war. She continues to vote for the funding. She won't call for an immediate withdrawal of the troops," said Sheehan
"I can't see — if they think it's going to help peace — that they would be opposed to me doing it," she said.
Sheehan and other peace activists met Saturday with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, himself a critic of Bush and the Iraq war.
"He said, why don't I run for president? ... I just laughed," she said.

What better place to announce your intentions!! What a joke! I think Cindy enjoys the few cameras she can find these days, and the dwindling publicity. I think she is over being the “grieving mother” now and is a full-blown activist and loving it. Monday morning she returns from Venezuela to go straight to Washington D.C. to look for cameras on Tuesday; the same day President Bush’s State of the Union Address. Cindy do you have no shame?

TODAY IN HISTORY
_______
Events in History
1956 - Elvis Presley made his first appearance on national television. No, he didn’t appear on some teenage dance show; but rather, The Dorsey Brothers Show, starring Tommy and Jimmy. Elvis sang Blue Suede Shoes and Heartbreak Hotel. He was backed by the instruments of the Dorsey band, believe it or not. * (Several years before I was born)
_______
1973 - CBS-TV presented the first program of Barnaby Jones (a Quinn Martin Production). Lee Meriwether (Miss America 1955) played the detective’s lovely daughter-in-law assistant. Buddy Ebsen played the detective, Jones. Ebsen, who started in show biz back in the 1920s, was also selected to play the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, but had bowed out. And he shot the first film used in the animation tests for a Walt Disney character named Mortimer Mouse (aka Mickey Mouse). Ebsen is best known, however, for playing Jed Clampett on another CBS-TV series, The Beverly Hillbillies. “Weee doggies!”
_______
1986 - 73 seconds after launch from Cape Canaveral, the U.S. space shuttle Challenger exploded, killing seven astronauts. After a flawless liftoff, the Challenger, traveling at a speed of 2900 feet per second, soared nine miles into space when suddenly the ship’s liquid hydrogen tank exploded. Millions watched the tragedy unfold on TV. This catastrophe took the lives of Commanders Francis ‘Dick’ Scobee and Michael J. Smith, Dr. Judith A. Resnik, Dr. Ronald E. McNair, Lt. Colonel Ellison S. Onizuka, Gregory B. Jarvis and school teacher Christa McAuliffe.

Major Earthquake Hits Off Indonesian Coast

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) - A magnitude-7.7 undersea earthquake rocked eastern Indonesia early Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. There was no danger of a tsunami.
The earthquake occurred about 120 miles south of Moluccas, the USGS said. It occurred at a depth of 212 miles.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said no destructive tsunami threat existed.

That region of our world has experienced several earthquakes and disasters within a year or so. On Jan 2nd I reported also on earthquakes and mudslides there since then if not mistaken more have occurred.

Gore, Carter, and Cindy Speaks - Who is Listening?

I try to read GATEWAY PUNDIT daily and I find his blog to be one of my very favorites. He reports information before most people are informed, supplies links, pictures and additional information for you to decide or research otherwise. He is right on target and in line with my views. Thanks Jim!!! Below you will find a few links to top stories reported in the last day or so.

Al Gore Blames Media for Demise of Canadian Liberals
Excerpt from his post:
“The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approved an application in November 2004 to allow the FOX News Channel onto Canadian digital airwaves. The CRTC rejected a CCTA application to bring Fox to Canada the previous November. In July of 2004 the CRTC gave approval to Aljazeera to air in digital braodcast. Because of public outrage from this decision, the thought police in the CRTC later felt forced to allow FOX News to broadcast on Canadian airwaves. So, Fox News started broadcasting in Canada sometime in 2005.”

Me: Humm, it makes you wonder once Canadians, were permitted finally, to watch Fox News how many people changed their mind about their government. Why worry Al Gore about Canada, they will not be voting for you either.

Carter Asks Hamas to Act Responsibly
Excerpt from his post:
Hamas, the largest and most powerful of the Palestinian terror organizations, which advocates Israel's destruction, has carried out scores of bombings over the last five years of Palestinian violence, attacks which have killed hundreds of Israeli civilians. Carter, who has long supported the participation of Hamas in the Palestinian elections, voiced the hope that the Islamic terror group would act "responsibly" now that it had won the elections.

Me: Has former President Jimmy Carter lost his mind?? Act responsibly? Duh?

Cindy Sheehan, the "Haji" Teacher of Caracas
Excerpts from his post:

Cindy shares her little nuggets of wisdom on the "desert sands and sewers" at the World Social Forum in Caracas, Venezuela today:

The people in Venezuela are getting an earful of Cindy already. Just perfect
(disgust) - her being cozy with a dictator President Chavez in Venezuela that
Hates America!! An excerpt from Gateway Pundit’s post of Cindy’s statement
below:

""""Our soldiers are taught that "Hajis," the brown skinned people of
Iraq who clean their toilets, showers, and wash their clothes are less than
people…which enables them to be killed more easily. The dehumanization of the
Iraqi people is also dehumanizing our soldiers. Our children.

A new world is necessary and it can only be possible if we decrease our dependency on
oil and use some of the money that we are pouring into the desert sands and
sewers of Iraq to expand research on renewable energy sources and expound and
promote the renewable sources we already have such as bio-diesel.

I have talked to many citizens of Venezuela who are understandably nervous about a U.S.
invasion and they know that it is not about the idea that President Chavez is a
"dictator" which he is not, he is a democratically elected leader who is very
popular in his country. The people of Venezuela are very savvy and they know
that if the U.S. invades their country that it won't be because we are spreading
"freedom and democracy" to them. They know they already have it.

We have to reach out to fellow members of the human race all over the world to forge the
bonds that are crucial to protecting innocent members of humankind who are
impoverished or killed by our government and corporatism that has gone wild and
is largely unchecked.

Peace and justice are intimately connected and the world can't have one without the other. True and lasting peace can only occur when we the people force out leadership that is dependent on the war machine for their jobs and for their lives and demand justice for the crimes against humanity that are perpetrated on the world on a daily basis by such "leaders."""""

Also you may want to read Cindy also SPEAKS for OUR TROOPS

Me: I hope all of you click over and comment at Gateway Pundit’s blog for his exceptional reporting and thank him for keeping us informed with the truth. I truly appreciate you Jim and for keeping us up-to-date with facts you will not hear on MSM.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — A controversial ruling for a sex offender in Vermont was changed Thursday from 60 days to 3 to 10 years after a judge received pressure to extend the punishment.

Uzbekistan gives fur-lined undies the slip

If it's fur-lined boxer shorts you need, don't bother looking for them in Uzbekistan anymore.

Authorities here, citing the "unbridled fantasy" that the newfangled thermal undergarments could spark if left unchecked, have ordered an immediate halt to sales of men's and women's underwear lined on the inside with animal fur, apparently the brainchild of a local entrepreneur.

The underwear, produced by a local textile firm called Collapse, began appearing in street vendor stalls recently and was apparently targeting migrant workers who leave the Central Asian state for employment in Russia, where temperatures have plunged to Arctic levels this week."

Traders are saying today that they have been told not to sell anymore fur underwear," said Sergei Yezhkov, a local resident and journalist who wrote an article on the exotic undies for the web-based independent news agency Ferghana.ru."

Maybe it is the authorities' reaction to the article," Yezhkov told AFP.

The article published on the web site said the fur-lined boxer shorts and women's underwear were designed to keep all the important bits warm in temperatures as low as minus 20 C (minus 4 F).

Assorted News for Monday

The President will speak at 12:30 in regards to the wiretapping issue and set the record straight. This morning on Fox & Friends they spoke with a guy that referred to the 9/11 report about two of the hijackers speaking as they boarded the plane to their leaders overseas by cell phone.

Cell phone records easy access, I wrote about this on Saturday in the post about UBL with a link. A blogger was able to easily throw down around a $100.00 and had “has been” Wesley Clark’s cell phone records and who he called at the Washington Post, etc.

It appears NBC has low ratings or other problems, maybe both. The West Wing was clipped and the creator of “Book of Daniel” is begging viewers to write in to keep the show on the air. He calls ones un-Christian and un-American that protested the show to start with.

The U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer the USS Winston S. Churchill saved the day of a ship hijacked by pirates off the shores of Somalia. Our brave sailors boarded the ship and detained 26 men that they are questioning. The Churchill is part of a multinational task force patrolling the western Indian Ocean and Horn of Africa region to thwart terrorist activity and other lawlessness during the U.S.-led war in Iraq.

The Chess Board

Here we go again, where to start. As many of you know, Iran and Israel are exchanging threats now on an almost daily basis. Meanwhile Russia, Syria, China and South America are getting in on the game too.

Russia has been experiencing record breaking temperatures Moscow coldest spell in 26 years (minus 36 Fahrenheit) Can you imagine?
Attn: Another weather breaker in our world!!! or - disaster people have been dying there.

However, this has not affected Russia from participating and making their own rules up. Georgia and Armenia suspect sabotage by Russia of exploding their pipelines. There is evidence of some kind of explosive devices at each site creating gas and electricity shortages. Tension between Georgia and Russia started two years ago when their Western-leaning President went into office. Remember when President Bush visited and the hand grenade that did not go off outside the stage?

Iran removed U.N. seals this month from their enrichment equipment. Last week it was reported that Iran was moving assets from Abroad to protect them from any U.N. sanctions, however today they are contradicting that. The Secretary of Russia's National Security Council recently visited Iran.
Russia wants to make a deal or A PROPOSAL with Iran with their own ideas.

Meanwhile, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani said on Sunday he will visit Moscow to follow up consultations with Russian officials on the idea proposed by Russia. "The focal point of our talks in Moscow will not be restricted to nuclear issues and we will hold talks on all fields," said Larijani. Reported today at Albawaba

This morning Russia accuses Britian of spying.

I keep my eye on Russia. According to what I believe and is written in the Bible it speaks about the North. With Israel being the center of the world, Moscow is due north and referred to as the Bear, in prophesy of what is to come. Myself I do not worry about it because whatever is going to happen will be, but I still like to keep up with each move these countries make in the direction of what I have studied. Do you think Russia wants to be the almighty super power? It sure gives you something to think about.

News out of Russia

MOSCOW, January 21 (RIA Novosti) - It is too early to refer the Iranian nuclear file to the UN Security Council, former Russian Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov said Saturday. "I do not support sanctions against Iran because they may boost extremism," Primakov, who is currently the president of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, told the radio station Ekho Moskvy. Too Early to refer Iran to the UN
_________________________________________________________

KIEV, January 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russia has asked Ukraine to partner with it in constructing nuclear power plants in third countries, the Ukrainian prime minister said Saturday. Russia wants to build NPPs with Ukraine
_________________________________________________________

Russia said earlier Friday that it would hold "detailed" talks with Iran over its proposal to supply the country with enriched uranium for use in its planned nuclear power plants. Russia discuss Iran’s nuclear program
__________________________________________________________

A long article but (excerpts below) definitely worth reading on what they are reporting in Russia. We have many problems ahead with this country and Iran.

Last week: Moscow News reports the following:

Tehran rejected Russia’s proposal to enrich Iranian uranium on our soil, (IN RUSSIA) saying they wanted to do it on their own. (IN IRAN)

It is not profitable for Russia to impose sanctions on Iran, since we just recently signed an agreement to sell them nearly $1 billion worth of medium-range anti-aircraft weapons. These modern weapons are capable of hitting targets up to 25 kilometers away and will probably be used to defend various testing sites in Iran. Therefore, if some attempt is made to strike at the country and the deliveries from Russia are made quickly enough, we can expect a strong response. In other words, Iran will be able to defend itself. However, if ballistic missiles are used, then nuclear sites can be targeted effectively. We must not forget that Russia has its experts working on some of these sites, and is not interested in a military scenario, if only to protect them.

China has similar interests, because it buys oil from Iran. The Americans are a viable threat, since they have virtually surrounded Iran. First of all, they have planes stationed at air bases in U.S.-occupied Afghanistan, so that is one place they can strike from. At the same time, there is Iraq.

Yesterday, members of Russia’s Security Council...reported that although
Russia’s proposal concerning Iran’s possible enriching of uranium on Russian soil was rejected, the next stage of talks will take place in Moscow in February and this topic will come up again. Do you think we can anticipate a change in the stance of either side, Iran or Russia? You mean whether Iran will agree to enrich its uranium in Russia?
Yes.
I wouldn’t exclude this possibility. Why? Because Russia has ways in which it can pressure Iran.
First, there is the weapons supply. There haven’t been any supplies to Iran in a long time and the army is demanding new equipment. This is one argument. The other is that Iran and Russia have common interests around the Caspian Sea and if Iran wants to pursue close relations with Russia, this will be an area where influence can be gained by either side. Perhaps, Russia will offer more advanced weapons to Iran, including systems like the S-300, which we supplied to Syria. Iran, of course, is a different kind of country. It is rich, and if Russia wants to, it has ways of persuading Tehran. Full Story

Remember too, this is Russia reporting. I have said all along that at the end of the day, Russia will be our biggest threat to America. Now Iran wants to come back to the bargaining table with Russia.

UBL Tape Scoured For Clues

This audio tape has been edited with missing snippets from Al Jazeera before being aired and it took at least 5 weeks to deliver some experts say. If only UBL would use internet access for instant messages that would be wonderful, he could be tracked in a split second.

People do not realize how easy it is to track an IP address (like a server name lisco.net for an example and/or some number random like 69.18.30.) This identifies you (example: John Doe) when you have internet access unique like a fingerprint unless you use a library or public computer and even in those places, logs are kept usually on time usage. Actually tracking this way is quicker than obtaining your cell phone number and records. Now it is being reported in the news just this past week about ones obtaining people’s cell #’s and records even the FBI’s. More Nothing seems to be secret anymore even down to medical records. Unfortunately in my past I had a couple stalkers, and this info helped the authorities. There are so many available sources these days that do this and have a report within a few minutes. Sadly to say, they can take this little IP address and reveal extremely personal details about individuals i.e. their name, where they live, work, phone numbers, email addresses, and how much money you have in the bank, not to forget your S.S.# and so forth. Last summer, a very dear blogger friend of several of us had this happen to him, it was awful and vicious actually, his job was in jeopardy over it too. This hateful person went anonymous to each of his hundred readers and posted his full information with complete details. His office started getting calls and emails and he later had to shut that blog down, only his true friends later was informed to where he was. I was thankful he trusted me to email ones to please delete that info from their blogs.

This brings me to another subject. When I first moved to FL I was out one night and met this man (an immediate family member of the Gambinos) That same day I had just changed my cell number to a FL number from AL and only one person had that information. I did not give him my number (could not even remember it myself-smiling) Before 9 a.m. the following morning, he called me on it. He later told me just how easy it is to get this info and if I ever needed a favor to let him know. Well, I don’t need any favors, but the offer has always been appreciated. (smiling) He did get some money owed to me from someone that suckered me into investing in a scam, that I did not realize was at that the time. Getting suckered has only happened a few times, but hopefully you live and learn and do not repeat your mistakes.

Back on track here…excerpts below:

John Rollins, a former Homeland Security intelligence official, said the
timeline is important because terror threats can lose credibility as time goes
on without an attack.

"If you can date it back as being from weeks or months ago, and he's
saying then that he's getting close to operation readiness, this gives you an
indication that it's bravado," said Rollins, now a terrorism expert at the
Congressional Research Service.
______________________________________________________
But if the
threats were recorded very recently, "then that does raise the bar to more
concerns that the timing of the tape may coincide with actual plans that are
under way," Rollins said.
An analysis by the IntelCenter, a U.S. government
contractor that does work for intelligence agencies, highlighted language in bin
Laden's statement that it said could be part of a warning cycle for Americans.
_______________________________________________________
In his most recent recording, bin Laden began his statement by saying,
"Peace be upon those who follow guidance." That language, the analysis
concluded, closely matches a pattern seen before the bombings in London last
July 7. Bin Laden used almost identical greetings in statements directed to
Europeans in April 2004 and to Americans in October 2004.
_________________________________________________________
"We believe that this signifies this is a warning message, and they
feel they're obligated (to give) in the run-up to an attack," said Ben Venzke,
chief executive at the IntelCenter. Full Story

What are your thoughts about if this is a way of stealing the spotlight away from Abu Mud’ab al-Zarqawi, who has raised more money as the number one terrorist in Iraq, or UBL is weaker in strength or an attack is imminent soon?

Exercise Question

Has anyone tried the Ab-Lounger or know anyone that has? I briefly looked online and read a few pages that popped up on Google. Someone posted this same question on WebMD and had two responses with very little information. One place under opinions rated it 3 stars. At Fitness Infomercial Review was full of comments in regards to this equipment designed for abdominal exercise. Click here for the consumer reviews

I discovered that the prices ranged on this product from as low as $25.00 on Ebay to $175.00. What little I read on several comments was ones complaining about the storage issue of it being bulky. My attraction to more information is the point ones have made about it not hurting your neck and back. I have two herniated discs in both areas and it would be wonderful to use this if it really works and easy to store. Just wondering if any of you have additional info? What I really would like to add to our fitness facility is the Total Gym. Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley endorse this product. Official site of Total Gym I like both of them and their openness about their spiritual beliefs.

My Thoughts Exactly John

JOHN GIBSON'S - MY WORD
Thursday 1-19-06

Bin Laden's Talking Points From Far Left?
So bin Laden is offering us a truce.

There might be some people who think it's a tempting offer. "End that nasty war in Iraq, end the bleeding of people and money, end the threat here at home. All we have to do is hand Iraq and Afghanistan over to bin Laden, and hey, he might dicker on the details. Maybe we can make a better deal."

Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer issued a quick statement that we don't deal with terrorists. No truce, Usama.

Even Howard Dean — interviewed here on FOX shortly after the release of the tape — agreed that we should never negotiate with terrorists.

Far lefties like the ones who were screaming at Nancy Pelosi the other day in San Francisco should take note. They were calling on Pelosi to end the funding for the war, leaving her in the defensive but correct position that she couldn't cut off support for the troops.

But these are the very people who will seize on the offer of a truce. And this is why these sorts of people don't run the U.S. government and never will.

Democrats and Republicans, I'm sure, will be united on this point. No bargaining with bin Laden, and he's still got to answer for killing 3,000 Americans in New York.

But the far lefties ought to pay attention to the other things he said. He was quoting our own far left and Europe's as they have cheered the polls showing Americans support for the war waning, that some Americans want to pull out from Iraq.

That's the basis for bin Laden's truce offer. He is talking to America's far left and saying, "You know what. We're on the same side. So why don't you work on that hardhead George W. Bush?"
Bin Laden told us Thursday that our far left has been working for him. It's their poll results he quotes.

Bin Laden told us that our secret wiretapping program is something we should keep up. He's got people here already and he's got more coming and they are planning to blow us up.
In the War on Terror, a bin Laden tape is the far left's worst nightmare because it reminds Americans the war is real.
That's My Word. My Word by John Gibson

John, I could not agree with you more!
Personally, I was affected by 9/11 and my world changed. Hopefully ones will realize just how serious this is and it can not be dismissed as JUST another tape. This warning, experts say, is different than the ones prior, it has deeper more focused meaning. Bin Laden knows exactly what he is doing and how to divide America because the world is watching and is aware of what is happening in our country. He makes several references to our politics and events.

A Reminder Folks-UBL

Not sure, where to start here, but at this moment the CIA is checking for authenticity of this new tape released by UBL that is being broadcasted right now on Al-Jazeera. (on sidebar) If you are living in La La Land, I say you may want to consider WAKING UP and Paying attention!! America is in a War against evil Terrorists that WANT TO KILL US!!!! Gotta it? LIKE FOR REAL!!! That is not all either. Al Qaeda is preparing for attacks in the United States!! Excerpt below:

"The voice on the tape said heightened security measures in the United States are not the reason there have been no attacks there since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
Instead, the reason is "because there are operations that need preparations, and you will see them," he said.
"The delay in similar operations happening in America has not been because of failure to break through your security measures. But the operations are happening in Baghdad and you will see them here at home the minute they are through (with preparations), with God's permission," he said."
Fox News source

You hear that folks, watch the tape online or your trusted news channel hopefully you are not watching the MSM b/c you may not get all the info with facts. I would suggest doing your own research also to back up what you see and hear on your tube. I don’t want to forget to mention, how damn important it is to listen to these killers on the phone here in America getting instructions from their leaders in other countries. Get real!!!! People screamed “not enough was done prior to 9/11” and now when there are efforts to keep us as safe as possible we have to deal with idiots trying to prevent protection.

Don’t forget either what an awesome job our BRAVE MILITARY is doing! If you don’t think so, just say so and I can prove it.

At least three top Al Qaeda operatives were believed killed in a U.S. missile strike last week, including an explosives expert on the U.S. most-wanted list and a close relative of the terror network's No. 2 leader Ayman al-Zawahri.

This scary situation with Iran is down right serious LIKE anything can happen at any moment duh!! This crazy lunatic President Mahmoud Ahmadinejah is apt to do anything at anytime. It is very complicated if you have not been keeping up with day-to-day talks and know, what their threats are. Iran can back up their ramblings, if you don’t believe it then go back into your cave.

This reminder only pisses me off, that ones do not know how serious this is and how the cold-blooded killers have no mercy and cannot be trusted. If you think for a moment we can negotiate with them or give in to their demands, you are nuts. I know the majority of Americans are concerned and consider terror to be their number one issue, like myself. I am happy there are some in Washington D.C. that have a backbone and willing to be diligent towards terror. Appreciate most importantly, our brave soldiers who are putting their life on the line to protect us here on the homeland.

How can you fight against people that are willing to blow themselves up to kill others? This is more than disturbing to me. If you do not believe this....go "DANCING WITH THE STARS"!

Vampire for Governor in Minnesota

I watched an interview this past weekend on Fox & Friends with this so-called vampire nut. Brian Kilmeade seemed to be as annoyed and disgusted as I was to even have to listen to this sicko. In Minnesota, anyone who pays the $300 filing fee can get on the gubernatorial ballot, as if we do not have enough crazy extremists in the political arena. For a little amount of money, he sure is getting quite a bit of publicity. Perhaps Johathon and Michael Newdow will fall in a hole with a one way ticket sooner than later.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Jan. 13, 2006 - "The Impaler" thinks Friday the 13th is the perfect day to launch his run for governor of Minnesota.
Jonathon Sharkey calls himself "The Impaler" and says he's the leader of the "Vampyres, Witches and Pagans Party."
In an e-mail, The Impaler tells the Star Tribune of Minneapolis that he drinks blood, is a satanic priest and worships Lucifer. Sharkey has his own way of being tough on crime. He says terrorists, rapists and drug dealers should be impaled at the state capitol building. Source

Impeach Judge Cashman in Vermont

Judge Cashman Needs Impeachment in Vermont

Recently the world has been informed about Judge Edward Cashman in Vermont sentencing an admitted child rapist, Mark Hulett, to a 60-day-sentence in prison. This action is a direct violation of the constitutional protection for this little child where the punishment does not fit the crime. As Bill O’Reilly said, “this is not a liberal versus conservative issue, but it is becoming clear that a liberal Democrat, Vermont House Speaker Gaye Symington is now blocking action to remove Cashman from the bench.” Judge Cashman feels rehabilitation is more appropriate. We all know the recidivism rate of these sex offenders/predators/pedophiles, let us not forget little Jessica, Shasta, Carlie, and the hundreds of other children that have been kidnapped, raped, and murdered by these monsters; by many being allowed back on the street. Joseph E. Duncan III’s case is coming up soon in reference to little Shasta Groene and her family. Meanwhile they are linking him to other missing children and he too was a repeat offender released out into the public.

A little background on this huge injustice, this 34-year-old Mark Hulett pedophile admitted to raping repeatedly a 6 yr old little girl for over four years and now it has been uncovered his best friend was allowed by this man to rape the little girl too. The little girl’s parents are mentally challenged and the details are too horrific to write about, you would need to research and read for yourself. I will not be posting the additional information in regards to his confessions of the ongoing rapes of 4 years to this baby. The little girl is one of Vermont's must vulnerable citizens. O’Reilly’s said “Yet Speaker Symington could not care less. It's all politics to her. How bad is this?”

Governor Jim Douglas, a republican, says he would like to do something about this but now he is dodging calls, however his office did finally release a statement saying they had received more correspondence on this (60-day sentence) than any other issue in the history of Vermont. Millions of people including myself have written the governor in regards to this case. We encourage everyone that feels that action should be taken and that this judge must be removed from the bench, you can write the governor right here and I hope you do. I feel any decent human being would want to take 1 minute out of their day to send a comment about this outrageous judge. The link will appear with a comment box, a very simple format. I feel it would place pressure and make a huge impact on this case and for all the other children that are not protected in this state. Vermont has very few guidelines or laws for protecting children against these monsters. Myself, if I lived there with children I would move immediately.

Human Services Secretary Michael Smith announced his order to reclassify Hulett, making him eligible for in-prison treatment, however Judge Cashman has not changed his ruling spite this exception and does not plan to. Vermont state House Republicans introduced a non-binding resolution asking Cashman to resign.

Vermont is of the remaining 10 states that are not moving in the direction of “Jessica’s Law”.

If the people do not stand up for what we know about sex predators - laws will not change and judges will continue to allow them back on our streets. I feel they need a life sentence and then execution, but I understand that 25 years is a good start in the right direction. I hope that you will comment that you wrote the Governor of Vermont. How can anyone agree with this outrageous sentence of a confessed child rapist?

Inappropriate Homework in High School

Friday, Jan 13th -BROOKLYN, Ohio (AP) -- A high school research assignment on Internet pornography was canceled after parents in this Cleveland suburb complained.
Superintendent Jeff Lampert said that although the teacher's apparent goal - to discuss the harmful effects of pornography - was well-intentioned, he agreed with parents that the assignment was inappropriate for 14- and 15-year-old freshmen at Brooklyn High.
The assignment asked students to research pornography on the Internet and list eight facts about pornography. Students also were asked to write their personal views of pornography and any experience they had with it. AP Reports

– Moral Deterioration
After the Superintendent started getting calls, they decided to drop the project. What were they thinking to begin with? It is bad enough how our colleges are persuading our young people. It sounds to me as if these students were assigned this as a smoke screen or a deceiving spin by the perversion sickness of the teacher. (makes me wonder about Judge Cashman in Vermont too, that is another post) I don’t believe that the reason was well-intended myself, thank goodness for parents that pay attention to their children’s homework.

The lack of morals and discipline in this country and the world is at an all time low, you wonder why more and more juveniles are committing crimes. Example here, in Ft Lauderdale two teens surrender in homeless beatings -Source-Fox News and killing a man caught on video tape. Our local news reported both teenagers showed no signs in school of anger problems actually quite the contrary. Sure makes you wonder why they would do this, perhaps it may have something to do with the post that Bujutsu Blogger wrote on Evil-Lite , lack of morals and discipline at home, what they are learning in school and/or violent video games, etc. I watched on Fox News this weekend where terrorists and insurgents use these same video games as additional tools for desensitizing their killers.

My daughter tells me it is terrible at the college she attends how they push liberal views and encourage secularism, so I imagine internet porn is also a hot topic of assignments to go along with that agenda. With writing this she reminded me of the case in CA where elementary children, 1-5th graders were ask questions in regards to a sex survey (mentioned below). Let us not forget how the ACLU defended this and how the ACLU support the pedophiles- sex offenders/predators and their rights. We all know what side of the political spectrum that the ACLU supports. I could probably go off on this forever, but this has been on my mind since reading this disturbing story above. I decided awhile back that I am going to post whatever I want to and hope that it makes a difference if only to one person that is not informed on some issues.

A few excerpts from the archives of
Common Sense and Wonder written in Nov 2005

Fundamental parental rights under attack
Like Kelo vs New London, this is an important issue. The judge's ruling seriously diminishes parental rights in a way that bears no resemblance to American history of culture. These judges are slowly making all children wards of the state.

By the way, Judge Reinhart is married to the head of the California ACLU. Surprised? Didn't think you would be.

The case, Fields v. Palmdale, involved a "psychological survey" given to first-, third- and fifth-graders that asked them questions about "touching my private parts too much," "getting scared or upset when I think about sex" and how they feel when they "can't stop thinking about sex." Parents were asked for permission to give the survey but were not informed of its sexual content.

1989 -- the San Francisco Superior Court ruled that the California Constitution's privacy guarantees for minor girls overruled any right parents had to control the behavior of their children.
1995 -- the Massachusetts Court of Appeals found that parents did not have the right to know in advance or to opt their children out of a 90-minute presentation by "Hot, Sexy and Safer Productions" that included homosexual inferences and games played with condoms.
1996 -- The Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in an Ohio case that parents could claim constitutional protection for decisions regarding the education of their children only if the decisions were based on religious beliefs. In contrast, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled 15 times, beginning in 1923 and as recently as 2000, that "the fundamental right of parents to make decisions concerning the care, custody and control of their children" is guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.

I know the title of this post and the content somewhat wondered off the subject but I felt what followed was necessary to report. Not even sure how to address a question to you about what is going on in this country regarding our children. This is totally disgusting to me and what you have just read is only a tiny faction of it.

MLK Day Plans from Gore & Others

UPDATED: I should have linked Gateway Pundit’s first excellent post before inserting the one listed below. Click here for Making MLK Holiday a Day for Everyone you will truly enjoy it and find it VERY informative.

If you wish to read more about these unhinged events Gateway Pundit reports interesting details with links – click here Below are a few excerpts from his post.

* MLK 'Truth, Peace & Justice' rally Sunday will focus on Bush
impeachment, third Party campaign in Palo Alto for Congress as advertised at After Downing Street.

It is interesting that today Democrats.com has an
article about a Zogby poll (no links are available) on Americans overwhelmingly
approving George Bush's impeachment.
This is a nice build up for the
stimulating Al Gore event on Monday. The
poll findings are remarkable since just 10 days ago only 33% of Americans
believed that Bush broke the law while 50% believed he did not.
Now this
Zogby poll says 52% of the country wants Congress to consider impeachment? Hmm.

* New York Martin Luther King Day Events, Realizing the
Dream: A Call to Conscience
, actors Susan Sarandon and Jeffrey Wright will
read select works of Dr. King.

* In Fort Lauderdale --
Singer Harry Belafonte is featured speaker at the fifth annual Martin Luther
King Jr. Day program, 7 p.m. at Diamante's Banquet Center, 6501 W. Commercial
Blvd., Lauderdale. Cost is $50 per person. 954-730-4218.

Great Post - Gateway Pundit, thanks for always giving me heads up and in my own backyard too here in South Florida. AND NO!!!!! I will not be attending.....this event a few miles down the road from me.
