Write to your elected officials today to get the "Children's Safety Act" passed.

Child Safety Act HR 4472 needs desperately to be passed. This week, Erin Runnion (mother of Samantha), Mark Lunsford (father of Jessica) Marc Klass (father of Polly) and founder of Beyond Missing and others are in Washington, D.C. pushing this bill to be passed. Mark Lunsford said “It is a tough piece of legislation to protect our children and give states the minimum guidelines of what to do.” Marc Klass followed with stating there are 72 million children in the U.S. under the age 18 years old. “DEMAND Absolutely DEMAND U.S. Senators to get behind this.” Another quote from Mr. Klass “Everyday that this is not passed, another child’s life is lost to a predator….Remember that, Mr. and Mrs. America.” So, I will make it easy for you, if you press this link it takes you to a page to easily write your representatives. ACTION MUST BE NOW, it may be JULY if not taken care of now and passed. Thanks to Liberals HR 3132 was lost!! This should NOT be a partisan issue to protect our children. Recently a rundown of politicians for and against tougher laws to protect children found approx. 80% were Liberals that were against these laws. Don’t forget the ACLU not wanting these laws on the books either. Shocking and Stunning that this many law makers are siding with the predators and criminals, in my opinion, I don’t get it, please someone tell me WHY??????

I feel our Representatives and Senators need to be held accountable and watched like OFFENDERS too!! - Too bad we do not have a watchdog system for easy tracking to their behavior, statements and favorite lobbyist.

This morning I typed my zip code in and found 173 Sex Offenders in the upper part of my county that is not too far away from my home. This site shows where they live, work, location of schools, etc. unbelievable this free site and what valuable information it provides. IMPORTANT SIX (6) States will not & do not participate: VT, PA, RI, SD, OR, NV

PLEASE, I ASK PLEASE TO WRITE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES and SENATORS TO PASS HR4472.

BREAKING NEWS:Mark was in D.C. with John Walsh of America's Most Wanted and they are now pushing for S. 4472 by Congressman Sensenbrenner, R-Wisc., introduced as The Children's Safety and Violent Crime Reduction Act of 2005 in December of last year.

The HR3132/S1086 version of the Child Safety Act was stopped in its tracks due to an unrelated hate crimes amendment that Sen. Kennedy added. Source-Jessica Lunsford’s Foundation Site
