Obama Preaches To Masses in S. Carolina with Oprah

Good Grief!! Obama is no Messiah!!.....

Are we going to see more of this with the Dems playing the religious card? If it is working for Mike Huckabee, surging through the polls, (if that is the reason) the "O" team seem to have pandered to the South Carolinian southern voter today with rhetoric that was straight from Sunday school.

On the second day of Oprah Winfrey campaigning with Democrat presidential candidate, Barack Obama, she was welcomed to a massive crowd, close to half of the 80,000-seat stadium.

The speeches from yesterday in Iowa changed a little for this big Sunday event, that was scheduled for after church. The Politico has more:
Obama and Winfrey touched on many of the same themes of change that they had dwelt on in Iowa Saturday. But Sunday's gathering was sprinkled with women in the hats they'd worn to church, and had a distinctly Christian feel.

"I give all praise and honor to God," Obama began. "Look at the day the Lord has made."

Obama's wife, Michelle, opened the rally with a description of her husband that could, at moments, have been a description of Jesus Christ.

"We need a leader who's going to touch our souls. Who's going to make us feel differently about one another. Who's going to remind us that we are one another’s keepers. That we are only as strong as the weakest among us," she said, echoing biblical passages.
Surely people can see through this? How is Hillary going to top this revival?

Oprah has done many amazing things, that I admire, but her campaigning means nothing to me or any one else endorsing a candidate for president, for that matter and most especially a Democrat.
