Very Sad News Croc Hunter Steve Irwin Killed

This is such sad news!! Early this morning when this came across the breaking news wire, I felt so bad oh how tragic. Steve Irwin always managed to bring smiles and laughs to our homes as he wrangled the most dangerous reptiles. What a great guy, he had such passion for his work and at the same time with great enthusiasm with a great sense of humor. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go to his family. Wow, I still can't believe it.

A DOCTOR and witnesses have told of the desperate efforts to save Australian icon Steve Irwin after the Crocodile Hunter was struck in the chest by a stingray barb today.
Irwin, 44, died this morning after being fatally injured while filming a nature documentary off Queensland.

"He possibly died instantly when the barb hit him, and I don't think that he ... felt any pain.” quoted by Irwin's manager John Stainton.

The Irwins have two children - Bindi and a three-year-old son, Robert (Bob) Clarence Irwin.
