Laptop Shopping Survey

It is time for us to buy a laptop. About time!! (smiling) We own Dell PC’s, but not sure if Dell is the best choice for this.

If you own one or planning to purchase, what brand are you using or looking at? What do we need to know for specs in order for us to use it wireless? A friend suggested buying from overstock.com as they did for a Dell laptop for much less than from the manufacture.

We have put this off for months due to being confused on our best buy. Does it matter what brand? Any comments or suggestions, would be very much appreciated.
