Evil Successor Terrorist Al-Masri Leader Identified
By listening to the new conference this morning, it appears all of our armed forces, coalition troops, and Iraqis have been extremely busy with all the documents referred to as a “treasure trove” of information collected at the dead Al-Zarqawi’s so called safe house. Working together the U.S. and Iraqi forces have carried out 452 RAIDS!!! Way to Go!!! Discovery of 28 significant arms caches and the raids resulted in capturing 759 bad guys “anti-Iraqi elements.
In addition, the successor of Al-Zarqawi, the Al-Qaida’s new leader in Iraq, is an Egyptian born terrorist Abu Ayyub Al-Masri. He was revealed in the news conference with a picture. He was identified as a terrorist in 1982. It is believed he is an explosive expert and operates primarily in southern Iraq. BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- American and Iraqi forces have carried out 452 raids since last week's killing of terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, and 104 insurgents were killed during those actions, the U.S. military said Thursday.
Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a U.S. military spokesman in Baghdad, said the raids were carried out nationwide and led to the discovery of 28 significant arms caches.
He said 255 of the raids were joint operations, while 143 were carried out by Iraqi forces alone. The raids also resulted in the captures of 759 "anti-Iraqi elements."

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The U.S. military on Thursday identified Abu Ayyub Al-Masri, an operative with connections to Usama bin Laden, as probable new leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq.
Maj. Gen. William Caldwell released a photo of al-Masri, who also goes by Sheik Abu Hamza Al-Muhajer, at a press briefing in Baghdad.
Caldwell said Al-Masri's ability to lead the organization remained unclear, but added that he professed the "same tactics of attacking and killing civilians" as his predecessor Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. [read more]
