Possible Agenda for CNN's Plant "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"?

Next target Congress. Today in the New York Times.
WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 — Marking the 14th anniversary of legislation that allowed gay men and lesbians to serve in the military but only if they kept their orientation secret, 28 retired generals and admirals plan to release a letter on Friday urging Congress to repeal the law.
Wow, what timing?...It sure is suspicious that on Wednesday night at the Republican Debate in St. Petersburg, FL, CNN went so far as to fly planted gay activist Ret. General Keith Kerr to participate both by video and in person to push an agenda.
Few issues have split the Democratic and Republican presidential candidates this year as clearly as whether to repeal “don’t ask, don’t tell.”
At a debate in June, all of the Democratic candidates said they favored rescinding the policy. The Republican candidates, meanwhile, have favored continuing it, saying that it is a sensible approach or that it would be a distraction to integrate openly gay service members into the armed forces at a time of war.
Efforts to prompt the House and Senate to repeal the legislation have gained little traction. Senior leaders at the Pentagon are on the record as saying the Department of Defense will follow the lead of Congress.
What better way to get the issue out, all except I'm sure CNN did not mean for it to backfire as a plant.
Activities planned on Friday to mark the anniversary of the legislation are to center on a rally on the Mall in tribute to the service members discharged under the policy. Sponsors of the rally include organizations like the Human Rights Campaign, Servicemembers United, Log Cabin Republicans, Servicemembers Legal Defense Network and Liberty Education.
Let the truth unravel.....Don't tell me that CNN did not know what they were doing.

Venezuelans Saying NO to More Power to Chavez

Our two favorite reporters, Adam Housley and Steve Harrigan from Fox News are traveling to Venezuela to cover the upcoming election. President Hugo Chavez meanwhile has been threatening his people and rallying his supporters for the big day, Dec. 2nd vote that will be held this Sunday. Chavez is determined to become a dictator like his other buddies...Castro for one.

Thousands upon Thousands turned out today demonstrating in the streets saying NO to expanding power to Chavez. The referendum would eliminate presidential term limits and help Chavez in establishing a socialist state.
An excerpt from the NYT - Even some of Mr. Chávez’s most fervent supporters are beginning to show signs of hesitation at backing the constitutional changes he is promoting, which would end term limits for the president and greatly centralize his authority.
Tomorrow will be a big day in Caracas. Rallies and protests are planned throughout the country. For continuing updates check out Daniel at Venezuela News and Views.

Stacy Peterson Case Intensifying in Bolingbrook, Ill

With wife number three, Kathleen Savio now determined as a homicide and wife number four, Stacy Peterson missing for over a month, new clues are surfacing at rapid pace but not the key one needed to solve this mystery. We can only hope and pray that she is found soon, chances are slim at this point that she will be alive, but faith and hope should remain steady.

This whole scene plays out almost like a soap opera, with so many characters intermingled within a small community. For ones on the investigative side, it does not take long to track down relatives, colleagues, neighbors and friends, especially since blogs and tip lines are set up to assist.

It really is sad for the children and the families that want to find Stacy and others that want justice for Kathleen. Meanwhile, suspect Drew Peterson is sitting back, doing interviews, and sometimes laughing at ones that question his behavior.

This man has been accused by past women in his life that he is abusive and controlling. There is a deep dark cloud of guilt shadowing the case that seems overwhelming. All the evidence so far points only in one direction, but chances are Drew Peterson will not be arrested until Stacy is found. Many feel he is a danger to society and possibly to his own children, and I must agree. If he murdered one wife and maybe another, did he really think he could get by with it with out being caught?

Hook-A-Citizen Illegal Alien Site for Marriage

Can you believe this? On Neil Cavato, Fox interview about illegal aliens launching a new show to snag an American bride.

*Updated* Dec 1, 2007
Today Reuters has more on this ridiculous show to air: Show seeks to love match migrants and U.S. citizens
PHOENIX (Reuters) - A Los Angeles company is touting a new reality game show called "Who Wants to Marry a U.S. Citizen" that aims to create televised matrimony between legal citizens and immigrants who have temporary visas.
The show's backers at Morusa Media hope to make a sort of love match between reality TV and a national obsession with immigration. But the producers make no promise that a marriage will occur or lead to U.S. citizenship.
This is no difference than the police nabbing suspects on Craig's list for the same thing.

More CNN YouTube Democrat Plants at Debate

Not just one plant at the debate, but a whole nursery of plants as the facts flow in revealing the truth. And don't tell me that no one at CNN knew, someone knew and set it up that way. How stupid do they think Americans are, when they all deny they knew? CNN is a Joke!!

The CNN YouTube debate had not even ended, when email boxes were filling up with information about Gay Military Retiree Brig. General Keith H. Kerr. It did not stop there, through the night after I had posted, many other videos and people posing them were exposed.

This morning first thing....

Michelle Malkin: Digging out more CNN/YouTube plants: Abortion questioner is declared Edwards supporter (and a slobbering Anderson Cooper fan); Log Cabin Republican questioner is declared Obama supporter; lead toy questioner is a prominent union activist for the Edwards-endorsing United Steelworkers

'Gay question' general linked to Clinton posted by The Politico

Out of all thousands of videos submitted, how is it that CNN selections narrow down to supporters of Clinton, Obama, and Edwards. Hold on more may be exposed.

CNN even flew Gen. Keith Kerr to the Florida Debate via Fox News. Kerr's affilations include both Hillary Clinton and John Kerry campaigns.

*UPDATED* Listening the Rush Limbaugh radio program, it is revealed another questioner has connections to California Democrat Congresswoman, Jane Harmon to the CNN YouTube video submitted by Ted Faturos from Manhattan Beach, Ca on farm subsidies.

Also confirmed via Rush Limbaugh, General Kerr has appeared on CNN prior to last night's debate.

Debate Connections: General Kerr, Clinton and CNN

CNN did it again. Tonight in Florida, the CNN Republican debate had more than Youtube videos asking questions. A rambling gay general, Keith Kerr was featured in a video and in the audience using a microphone to push his agenda, he has connections with the Clintons and it was not disclosed openly for viewers. Check out Ace of Spades HQ.
Tonight’s CNN debate had a ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell’ question from a retired general. Apparently the general, Keith Kerr, is a member of the LGBT Americans For Hillary Steering Committee.
After the debate, Bill Bennett part of the panel exposed this information revealed through email. Anderson Cooper acted shocked. Yeah, right.

Bryan at Hotair has video and more info:
Update (Bryan): Not that we need anymore proof, but Kerr’s name appears in this Clinton press release. It’s about halfway down the list.
While putting together this post, Ace updates his site with Keith Kerr also being part of Veterans for Kerry.

Flip Flops are in Season for the Clintons Year Round

From someone that knows about perjury and lying to the nation, what more can you expect when Mr. Bill Clinton says now he opposed the war from the start? As Bill Clinton points that finger and speaks in a "matter of fact" manner, you can take what he says with a grain of salt. The media is all over it, here is a video.

While he made his speech in Iowa, he used the word "I" ninety-four times while only using his wife's name "Hillary" with only seven mentions. Anytime the Clintons' lips are a moving, chances are it is a lie.

Unpopular Venezuela's Pres Chavez Targets CNN Now

Unfortunately, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is not shutting up anytime soon, his new outrage is over CNN making another screw-up in production that aired briefly yesterday. Apparently Chavez's picture was misplaced over the text intended for murdered football star, Sean Taylor with a caption underneath reading "Who Killed him?" Within a few moments, the anchor realized the mistake and it was taken down. Chavez's rhetoric is the U.S. TV network may have been instigating his murder. Does this mean now, Chavez will get his news from Fox?
But Chavez called for a probe in an interview on state television, where he repeatedly reviewed a tape of the broadcast, questioning why the unconnected photograph and wording were left on screen for several seconds.

"I want the state prosecutor to look into bringing a suit against CNN for instigating murder in Venezuela," he said. "... undoubtedly it is part of the psychological warfare."
He sounds extremely paranoided.

The unpopular Hugo Chavez is obviously suffering from a breakdown. Lately, with one dispute right after another with Spain, Columbia, and the Roman Catholic Church, he is appearing desperate to blame the United States, once again, for all his problems.

This Saturday, Dec 2nd, the country of Venezuela will go to the polls and vote yes or no to give Chavez a position of being a dictator for life. He has threatened opposing Venezuelans if they do not vote in favor of him. The protest continue..... With no respect from the world or from his country, Chavez is desperate to be heard. What is next?

Sean Taylor's Murder Mystery in Miami

This is a terrible tragedy, the shooting death of Washington Redskin Pro Athlete Sean Taylor. At this time, the police are searching for clues to lead them to an arrest of a suspect(s). It appears it may have been a random home invasion/burglary but then again Sean Taylor's past is being examined closely too.
After clinging to life nearly 24 hours, the Washington Redskins Pro Bowl safety succumbed to a bullet wound to the leg about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Shot Monday morning at his Palmetto Bay home -- just feet from his baby daughter -- he died before he could speak to detectives. They are treating his death as a homicide. Under scrutiny of national media, investigators are looking into everything from a 2005 fight involving Taylor to a strange break-in last week at his home.

Shot in the groin, Taylor suffered massive blood loss from a severed femoral artery. Doctors who operated on him later in the afternoon could not save him, although family members said he was able to squeeze a doctor's hand, giving them reason for hope.
I was listening to one of the networks tonight covering this story and sure enough they brought up this was a good time to pass gun control. If any thing, this is a time that anyone that wishes to protect themselves need to purchase a fire arm. Here in south Florida we have had a rash of home invasions, robberies, murders, and other serious crimes including several police officers being shot and one last week stabbed.

Sean Taylor was raised in south Florida, played for the college team, Miami Hurricanes before going professional. He was 24 years old and had a new daughter, that he was very proud of. His girlfriend, Jackie Garcia and mother of his child, is the neice of actor Andy Garcia.
The shooting took place at about 1:30 a.m. Monday after Taylor and his girlfriend were startled awake by noises at their sprawling home on Old Cutler Road.
Taylor told Garcia to get under the covers while he shut the bedroom door and grabbed a machete he kept for protection under his bed, according to Taylor's attorney and family friend Richard Sharpstein.
As she cuddled their 18-month-old infant, Garcia told Sharpstein she did not hear any voices but said ``she heard a lot of noise that she related to more than one person. There seemed to be a lot of commotion.''
Then, she told him, the door swung open and Taylor was shot. The gunman never stepped into the room.
The intruder fired two bullets. One hit Taylor; the other hit a wall. Taylor tumbled back into the bedroom, wounded in the groin, Sharpstein said. The gunman fled immediately after firing.
''Nothing was stolen,'' Sharpstein said.
He said Garcia called 911 on a cellphone -- the house phone was not working. Miami-Dade patrol officers reported receiving the call at 1:45 a.m.
The police are still investigating.

Hillary Clinton and Top Aid Huma Abedin Lesbian Lovers?

Holy Smokes! Is Hillary Clinton, the Democrat running for President having an affair with her Muslim top aide Huma Abedin? Lesbian Lovers? Is this what the L.A. Times has been sitting on? In April, The New Yorker writes about who Huma is....

Via The Drudge Report
Sun Nov 25 2007 20:45:12 ET

The TIMES of London starts 'The Ugliest Month' with a full page photo takeout on Hillary Clinton and her beautiful personal assistant.

"Hillary Clinton has been accused of having an affair with Huma Abedin," reads the caption.

The splash stunned British readers and angered campaign insiders.

"This does not even qualify as tabloid trash... it's ridiculous and reckless," a Hillary confidante explained over the weekend.

Taking the whisper from the underground to the overground, the paper made no claims to knowing any truth of the relationship between Hillary and Huma, in its story headlined: "Snarls, smears and innuendo as attack dogs get ready for the fray."

The current campaign promises to become one of the dirtiest in modern history.

Recently rumors were floating around stating that the L.A. Times was setting on a story involving a sex scandal involving a presidential candidate......Could this stunning and shocking news be the bomb shell? On October 31,2007 Big Head DC posted this:
A major sex scandal story involving one of the leading presidential candidates is believed to be soon published by the LA Times, Big Head DC has learned. Details are slowly trickling in through people who’ve heard about the story, and with Larry Flynt saying he’s set to reveal a “huge” sex scandal story involving a sitting senator in the coming days, the rumors seem to be gathering traction.

“So I was down in DC this past weekend and happened to run into a well-connected media person, who told me flatly, unequivocally that ‘everyone knows’ the LA Times was sitting on a story, all wrapped up and ready to go about what is a potentially devastating sexual scandal involving a leading presidential candidate,” reports Pajamas Media’s Ron Rosenbaum. “‘Everyone knows’ meaning everyone in the DC mainstream media political reporting world. ‘Sitting on it’ because the paper couldn’t decide the complex ethics of whether and when to run it. The way I heard it they’d had it for a while but don’t know what to do. The person who told me is not an LAT person and knows I write and didn’t say ‘don’t write about this.’”

Several commenters on Rosenbaum’s article strongly believe that Hillary Clinton will ultimately be revealed as a lesbian, and that the recent GQ story her campaign helped kill by threatening to withhold a Bill Clinton interview may have gone into some shocking details into her sex life.Rumors of a close Hillary relationship with one of her top aides Huma Abedin, shown above, have long been swirling. Hillary has long denied being a lesbian.
This should get interesting come tomorrow, the day after the long Thanksgiving holiday. WOW!!

Video: Nick Saban Compares Game Loss to Disasters

Alabama Coach Nick Saban Compares 9/11 and Pearl Harbor to Loss of Game

Out of all the outrageous statements made by Nick Saban, now Alabama football coach, in the past, this latest tirade is definitely over the top and he should have been suspended on the spot. After a couple of days of planning a speech for a presser, it was not off the cuff or a slip of the tongue type of screw-up, he deliberating made the comparison of losing (a football game) with the 9/11 terrorist attacks and Pearl Harbor. Still no apology, only a statement sent out by a spokesman, Jeff Purinton trying to explain what was meant by it. The video below:

I am sure our veterans and soldiers would disagree with Saban's analogies. Not only did he tick off Alabama fans, the players, but he managed to create a firestorm throughout the country angering everyone that heard it. The media went negative on him and rightfully so. This is not the first time either, that this self-absorbed, egotistical nut sounded off with something stupid.

It was nothing more than a football game, for heaven's sakes. No Comparison, Saban. Get over it and your self.

Last Saturday, Alabama's embarrassing loss at home to Louisiana-Monroe ended with a final score of 21-14 to a booing stunned crowd on Senior Day. The fans and players not only upset about five losses (6-5) so far this season, but now they have to live with this nut coach voicing out absurdities. I'm sure the win was sweet though for the Warhawks of ULM, that has not won 6 games in a season since 1993.

ULM's coach, Charlie Weatherbie's salary is just $130,000 while over paid Saban is making 4 million annually on a newly signed eight year contract. It makes you wonder if Alabama was so desperate for a winning coach that they jumped the gun with hiring a mediocre maniac instead.

What would persuade Saban to say such things? Perhaps it speaks volumes as to what may be going on in his head and it gives you an insight to the narcissism of Nick Saban and his insensitivity. He is a little man with a huge chip on his shoulder that is overpaid and over rated. Two states, Florida and Louisiana are thankful he is gone.

Saban is a person that blames everyone else and is full of himself; he needs a reality check. It makes you wonder if he will be referred to, in the future, as his new name, St. Nick or as Miami labeled him as Nick Satan. One thing is for sure, Saban is the most disliked man in the world of football.

Tomorrow is the Iron Bowl, the biggest rivalry of the year in Alabama with the Crimson Tide going to Auburn to face the Tigers. Auburn has won the last five match ups and hoping that we can hold up two hands making it six this year. By the way, Tommy Tuberville is a class act. If Alabama loses, you may see another hissy fit from Saban, pointing his finger with anger making more outragous statements. If Alabama is smart they will get rid of this ticking bomb, he is an embarrassment to the whole state.

CNN Democratic Presidential Debate Debacle

CNN's big night at hosting the Democratic Presidential debate in Nevada, was by far the worst of all debates, if you can call it that, it was more of a lovefest between CNN and Hillary Clinton. The opening few minutes was the only excitement, actually showing a little bickering but after that, the remaining couple hours were painstakingly boring. All softball questions, and any that may have appeared challenging were first ask of low tier candidates, giving the top three plenty of time to calculate their upcoming answer if ask, way ahead of time. The whole evening seemed to be orchestrated to assist and boost Hillary Clinton, and CNN succeeded.

The Drudge Report this week, gave us a clue that Wolf Blitzer would go easy on Hillary. Not only did Wolf and his cronies do that, but the audience was set up like a forest instead of like a small nursery of plants. When it came time for the majority of Hillary supporters in the audience, to ask a question, it came across as if they had been given the questions in advance, and each one struggled to the memorized questions almost needing a cue card, helper CNN's Suzanne Malveaux twisted one to her own, about abortion. Suzanne had her own agenda.

With the one-sided bias crowd from loud applauds and cheering to boos all geared for positives for Hillary, out spoken Edwards cooled off his fire while Obama blew it on being in favor of illegal aliens having drivers licenses. Obama had a chance to grab the lead or maintain the climb, but now he is dismal, after word spreads of his new openly clarified answer and position. Since no one cared about what Richardson, Biden, and Kucinich had to say, they received the main topics first and allowed them the majority of the time alloted for this waste of time. In my opinion, CNN knew in advance that tonight many people on both sides of the aisle would be tuning in, especially after two weeks of Hillary stumbling on her double talk on illegals and playing the gender card. This set up the perfect scenario, good ratings going in, centering Hillary under the main highlighting spotlight, and assuring Hillary is back up in the lead. Should be an eye opener for smart Americans about lying Democrats and left leaning networks who portray being fair, what a sham.

You would think important questions would be ask of Hillary about today's news.... about the pardons, that her husband gave out when he was leaving office as president to criminals, that have made recent donations to her campaign. Why not ask her about Norman Hsu, the dishwashers in China town and hundreds of thousands of dollars that are very questionable. There is no excuse for omitting current news from the debate on controversial issues.

Since the last Dems debate and the hot issue was surrounding Governor Spitzer's plan of giving illegal aliens drivers licenses in N.Y. It would have been perfect to ask Hillary about her voting record in the Congress on the DREAM ACT, another sneaky amnesty bill, where she voted for it. Why not discuss and quiz all the Liberal Senators about their votes on Capital Hill.

These Liberal Networks never ask about Barack Hussein Obama's association with his Muslim childhood, or his missing records as a Senator of Illinois. Obama and Clinton have been successful in staying away from tough venues, and stumbles if ask a direct question about a touchy subject.

No Gotcha moments!! No Russert either. All the Flip Floppers had a Flop of a debate.

N.Y. Gov. Spitzer Abandons Illegal D.L. Plan

Perfect timing New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, on the eve of the Democratic Presidential Debate. AP
WASHINGTON - New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has decided to abandon a plan to issue driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, officials familiar with the decision told The Associated Press Tuesday night.
The governor is due to meet Wednesday morning with New York's congressional delegation, many of whom openly oppose the program. Debate over the issue also has spilled into New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign.
Spitzer gave hint that he may do this in San Juan recently. Close to 70% if not more, New Yorkers opposed illegal aliens obtaining drivers licenses. It is suspicious though, that today would be the day for the announcement, the day before all the Dems meet in Las Vegas.

*Updated* N.Y. Governor Spitzer will officially announce this on Wednesday. Thank Goodness!!

Massive Manhunt Underway in Broward Co. Florida

Here in Ft. Lauderdale and surrounding areas in Broward County, Florida

A Broward County Sheriff was shot this morning while transporting a prisoner, Michael Mazza, to court. Reports are that the suspect was in a wheelchair in the police van when he wrapped a chain first around the neck of the officer before shooting him multiple times. The officer was thrown on the pavement outside a strip club in Pompano Beach. Latest reports are the officer is in critical condition at the hospital. (N. Broward Medical Center)

Almost two hours later, the abandoned van was found outside the parking lot of Flanigan's restaurant off Davie Blvd. Schools are on lockdown, last I heard there were nineteen. After one of the police news conferences, there is speculation that this suspect may have faked his injuries and this may have been pre-planned.

With listening to my scanner, news is breaking first there before all of our local news channels that are covering this live. Homeland Security helicopters are circling with police and news helicopters above all the active scenes.

Now a car, that is thought to belong to Mazza's mother, a white Nissan Altima, tag # W84KZY is spotted and surrounded by police. This suspect has nothing to lose, facing two life sentences and with a long rap sheet, he should be concerned armed and dangerous. In 1994, in his past, he went on a 3-day crime spree including robbery and kidnapping.

*Updated* - Right now, it seems the suspect, Michael Mazza had help with eluding police. The law enforcement is in full force with all agencies involved. Mazza's family members are being questioned.

*Updated* 11:34 According to my police scanner, a perimeter is set up around a neighborhood on 13th Court off Davie Rd where the police believes Mazza may be. The Swat teams are suited up with bullet proof vests and helmets. Also at this time on news networks, a live news presser with Al Lamberti, Broward County Sheriff.

*Updated* Devastating news, the deputy shot, 76 yr. old, 20 year veteran, Officer Paul Rein is now pronounced dead. All prayers are with the family and the police force.
All schools are on lockdown. Full coverage on CBS4, Local 10, Fox WSVN, and live coverage streaming. Wanted Poster is posted on news websites.
At Mazza's last known address in Coral Springs, police has sealed it off and his wife and child is with police.

It is always a concern of mine when both my grown children are traveling throughout the county. My daughter is presently at college, downtown Ft. Lauderdale and my son is traveling on the expressway. Both have been calling me for updates, my son said earlier, he had never seen so many police officers speeding pass him and I could hear the multiple sirens in the background. My daughter from the high rise parking garage could see the sky full of helicopters swirling around multiple scenes.

*Update* So sad, Deputy Paul Rein had just talked with his wife, ten minutes before being shot.
Crimestoppers has offered a reward, at this time it is $25,000. The scanner is buzzing, hopefully I will have another update soon. Right now the focus is at Lauderdale-by-the-sea. The suspect was first reported wearing a suit, now officers are claiming he may have changed to shorts on the scanner and they are checking houses.

*Update* They may be closing in...just north of 16th Street-33 Ave...
Suspect is in custody, by Hollywood P.D. on Hollywood Blvd.

Captured: Michael Mazza, cop killer is in custody in the back of police car. Outside Uptown Pawn shop in Hollywood, FL near 441, 6020 Hollywood Blvd. Scanner is reporting, police agencies are leaving their posts.
12:55 p.m. Lockdown lifted on Broward County schools.
Update: A guy driving a white vintage car says he picked up Michael Mazza, hitch-hiking and went into the pawn shop to report who he had in his car, that was parked in front of Uptown Pawn Shop and Jewelry. He could be an accomplice, police are questioning the guy now and the caller that phoned in the tip.

Polls Show 77 Percent Oppose Licenses for Illegals

This is not surprising. Republicans should use this on the Dems and their voting record of supporting illegal aliens ever chance they get. Via The Washington Times:
Voters oppose driver's licenses for illegal aliens by a nearly five-to-one margin, a new Fox 5/Washington Times/Rasmussen Reports poll finds.

As immigration politics explode into the presidential race, polls show Americans are taking a hard line on benefits for illegal aliens, including opposing driver's licenses and such taxpayer-funded benefits as scholarships at state colleges for illegal-alien students.

The new poll found 77 percent of the adults surveyed opposed making driver's licenses available to illegal aliens, while just 16 percent supported the idea.
As far as citizens that vote...
Licenses fared poorly across party lines, including near-blanket opposition among self-identified Republicans, at 88 percent. Among independents and Democrats, it was still overwhelmingly unpopular, drawing 75 percent and 68 percent opposition, respectively.
Hopefully, just maybe, these polls will open up the eyes of our elected leaders.

Weasel Wexler, (D-FL) Votes Both Ways on Cheney

Weasel Robert Wexler, Florida Liberal, U.S. Congressman voted both ways today, on U.F.O. man, Dennis Kucinich's resolution, to impeach V.P. Dick Cheney.

Co-Sponors on the bill included Muslim Keith Ellison, Jan Schakowsky, Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, Keith Ellison, Lynn Woolsey, Barbara Lee, Albert Wynn, William Lacy Clay, Dennis Kucinich, Yvette Clarke, Jim McDermott, Jim Moran, Bob Filner, Sam Farr, Robert Brady, Tammy Baldwin, Donald Payne, Steve Cohen, Sheila Jackson Lee, Carolyn Kilpatrick, Ed Towns, Diane Watson.

Brian Faughnan at the Weekly Standard reported on the Democrat Switch-A-Roos....
There were 81 Democrats who voted to have an impeachment debate when they were pretty sure it would be tabled, then turned around and voted to prevent a debate when it was clear one might occur. Those opportunists are:
Listed at both here and Michelle Malkin's post.

Florida's weazel Congressman, Robert (Bob) Wexler posted this on his website.
Urges Judiciary Committee to Schedule Impeachment Hearings Immediately

(Washington, DC) Today, Congressman Wexler supported allowing debate and a vote on a privileged resolution sponsored by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) on the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney (H.Res. 333). Wexler voted no, along with only 85 other Democrats, on tabling the measure and in support of beginning immediate debate and a vote on the Cheney impeachment resolution. The vote on tabling the Kucinich resolution was rejected, and the House subsequently voted to refer the matter to the Judiciary Committee.

“Vice President Dick Cheney and the Bush Administration have demonstrated a consistent pattern of abusing the law and misleading Congress and the American people. We see the consequences of these actions abroad in Iraq and at home through the violations of our civil liberties,” Wexler said.

“The American people are served well with a legitimate and thorough impeachment inquiry. I urge the Judiciary Committee to schedule impeachment hearings immediately and not let this issue languish as it has over the last six months. Only through hearings can we begin to correct the abuses of Dick Cheney and the Bush Administration; and, if it is determined in these hearings that Vice President Cheney has committed High Crimes and Misdemeanors, he should be impeached and removed from office.”
According to The Hill, Rep. John Shadegg gets credit for outmaneuvering the Dems. Liberal Wexler is the only Florida Representative that was on the list.

Washington Post:The House voted today to send a resolution considering the impeachment of Vice President Cheney to the Judiciary Committee, a move that embarrassed Democratic leaders who were forced into the parliamentary tactic to avoid a floor debate on impeachment
*Updated* I love the post Don Surber wrote, an excerpt here...
The No. 2 Democrat in the House tried to ditch the proposal like Ugly Betty at the Junior Prom. House Republicans decided to have a little fun with it. They voted to allow Kucinich to proceed with his little resolution.

Sure, expose to the nation just what kind of loony bins voters sent to the House of Representatives. Congress has the lowest job approval rating of anyone ebver in Washington. 11%. Cheney’s numbers are better!

Sure, show the public just what these lifer politicians are doing in Washington.
It seems the Left is quiet. Our stupid Florida Congressman should think about the voters and his approval ratings instead of his Liberal ideology.

Video: Hillary Clinton Split Screen with Double Talk

This is a video of Hillary Clinton speaking on issues of Iraq, social security and immigration from last Tuesday's night Democratic Debate, put together by the Breck Girl, John Edwards. "The Politics of Parsing" video of split screens and double talk.

Hopefully the American people will eventually see that each one of these Democrat Liberals running for president are all double talkers.

Former Atlantic City Democratic Mayor: Phony Soldier Pleads Guilty

Remember last month when the Democrat mayor of Atlantic City went missing for three weeks during the heat of the "Phony Soldiers" comment by Rush Limbaugh and ABC's program exposing ones falsely claiming military records and fabricating stories of service in the military? Well, now resigned mayor, Robert Levy has pleaded guilty and is attempting to skate on no more than a 6 month sentence.

CAMDEN, N.J. - The former mayor of Atlantic City pleaded guilty Thursday to lying to enhance his veterans benefits, a crime that played a role in his bizarre three-week disappearance earlier this fall.

Making his first public appearance since leaving office Oct. 10, Robert Levy admitted to falsely claiming to have been awarded two military medals and embellishing his military record in order to receive more money in disability benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Levy admitted fabricating stories that as a soldier in Vietnam, he had been left in the jungle for weeks along with South Vietnamese troops he was working with to fend for himself. He also claimed to have made a number of parachute jumps when he did not.

Though those claims were untrue, Levy was a decorated Army veteran who was given eight medals including two bronze stars, said his lawyer, Edwin Jacobs.

As a federal judge read the accusations, Levy said, "Yes, your honor," but little else.

The increased benefits over four years came to a total of $24,683. It was unclear whether he would have to repay that.

Levy is scheduled to be sentenced in February. As part of his plea deal, he agreed not to appeal his sentence as long as it's not more than six months.

The Democrat was elected in 2005 to preside over a city in which the political corruption is almost as famous as the casinos. Four of the last nine mayors have been charged with taking bribes; three men who were on the city council last year are now in prison in another bribery case.

Levy disappeared from city life in late September before resurfacing to resign. He cited ill health and the federal investigation into his war record as his reasons for leaving.

The Press of Atlantic City reported last fall that the Vietnam veteran's claims that he was a member of the Green Berets were untrue. He apologized, but federal authorities have been looking into whether Levy made that claim to increase his veteran benefit payments.

During his absence from city hall, Levy spent time in a substance abuse and mental health treatment center in northern New Jersey. Jacobs described the mayor's time there as "a detox situation."
This managed to be ignored by the liberal news service. Perhaps someone needs to remind Media Matters about phony soldiers.

Open Arms for Sarkozy, French Pres. Next Week's Visit

France's President Nicolas Sarkozy is scheduled for his first official trip to the United States, since being elected six months ago. The Pro-American President will tour with President Bush in Mount Vernon and address a joint session of Congress, next week. He should be greeted with open arms as a new ally and friend of the U.S. His position on the Global War on Terror should be one good reason to start.

With growing and serious concerns dealing with Iran, Sarkozy has taken a position for a tougher line against them than the previous wimpy former Pres. Jacques Chirac. This new relationship between France and the U.S. is welcoming and long awaited. It is nice that we can enjoy French wine and cheese again. (smiling)

More Good News: Over 3,000 Return to West Baghdad, Iraq

More Great News coming out of Iraq:
(AP) BAGHDAD - In a dramatic turnaround, more than 3,000 Iraqi families driven out of their Baghdad neighborhoods have returned to their homes in the past three months as sectarian violence has dropped, the government said Saturday.

Saad al-Azawi, his wife and four children are among them. They fled to Syria six months ago, leaving behind what had become one of the capital's more dangerous districts — west Baghdad's largely Sunni Khadra region.
Many stores are now staying open into the night and new first time business owners are springing up in the area. Our U.S. Military is doing great job in Iraq and the news agencies are having difficulties hiding and suppressing the positive turn of events.

Auburn Fan Speaks on SEC Showdown: LSU vs Alabama

Even though I am a devoted, die-hard Auburn fan and native of Alabama, I will be rooting for LSU today in the match-up between the Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers. It is normally traditional to pull for any team playing our rival through-out the college football season, but this year, it is a deeper divide over dislikes for their coach Nick Saban. I am not alone with this feeling, actually most of Florida feel the same way after his "leaving in the middle of the night exit" from the Miami Dolphins and South Florida. His opinion rating here is below nada and good riddance.

Louisiana fans have not forgotten either, how he abandon the LSU Tigers several years ago for a lucrative salary with the Dolphins. After he was not worshipped like a Savior in Miami nor treated like a A-list celebrity, he took off once again for more money and idol status for a state, who would kiss the ground he walked on if he would get Alabama back in ranking status. Well, so far this year, 2000 and Saban, has roused up the fans to believe they are better than they are and confidence restored that the Iron Bowl will change the Tide for the future. That is the game that counts the most to any fan that lives in Alabama.

My predictions may be wrong to assume, but I do not see Alabama whipping up on LSU nor lucking out, as they have this year, with so many teams at the last second, by a fluke. With watching all their games, that have been televised, the Tide has narrowly escaped one loss after another. As an Auburn fan speaking here, Go Tigers!!

This evening we shall see, after two teams have had a bye week off to get ready, who really is the toughest between the two. In my opinion, Auburn has proven to be the best in the SEC, even though Auburn lost in the last seconds of the game by a crazy throw, down to the end zone for a long shot catch, that determined the LSU victory and Auburn defeating the Florida Gators in the Swamp. With the Crimson Tide's weak schedule this year, it is misleading on how good they really think they are. Guessing today, we will see if the improvements made during this season so far and overlooked mishaps, will put them in the lead of the West.

Today, Auburn will be playing Tenn Tech for their Homecoming Game and next Georgia, before the match-up of the year against Alabama for the year long bragging rights of the Iron Bowl. WAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Eagle!!

Closet Muslim Obama would Meet Islamic Iran if Pres.

Of course, Barack Obama, democratic presidential candidate, would meet with Iran if he were President, why wouldn't he? They share much in common, for one their Muslim beliefs, surely that could be a topic of conversation. Is anyone concerned about the secrecy behind Obama and his lack of experience and childhood teachings of Islam? He avoids tough venues for hard questions, and is more than a bit mysterious to the American people. I don't know if others feel as I do, but I find this man secretive and it makes me curious to why no one questions him more on his Muslim roots.

Today on the front page of the N.Y. Times, an article details what Obama said concerning his stance on Iran.

Illegal Aliens: Easy Voter Registration from Federal Programs?

With the uproar about N.Y. Drivers Licenses and the opportunity offered for voter registration at the same time to illegals aliens, the biggest scandal of all is being ignored, or perhaps by no one investigating it and bringing light to illegals signing up to vote through easier means government programs-Federal Entitlements. This covers the whole country and not just New York.

Illegal aliens can check a box on the same form (yes and no) while applying for FEDERAL/Government programs, they can apply for registering to vote. One shop Sign-up!! Programs such as SCHIP, SSI, Cash Assistance, Food Stamps, Medicaid, etc.

Through easy research the application with the Florida Department of Children and Families that covers the above programs and additional ones setup for persons without a SSN and a SSN is not required include Emergency Medicaid, Refugee Cash Assistance, or Refugee Medical Assistance. The standard forms used for everyone applying for one or all, allows ones to check yes or no to apply for voters registration while filling it out.
Check YES if you would like to apply to register to vote or update your voter registration information. If you check the NO box or do not check a box, you will be considered to have decided not to apply to register to vote or update your voter registration. Checking YES, NO, or leaving this question blank will not affect your receipt of benefits.
If you notice, there is no mention of restrictions to legal or illegal status for applying. This is a privilege of both having a Drivers Licenses and a Voter's Registration card for legal American citizens, there are even laws against criminally convicted felons from having the opportunity to vote. This is a huge crack in our government for allowing illegals the chance to register to vote and an advantage for Democrats who woos the illegal alien voting bloc. Perhaps this is a missing link to understanding why Dems continuously vote on amnesty ever chance they get.

Just how many illegal aliens are registered to vote in our country at this time? I bet the numbers would be staggering if calculated. Hopefully some journalist(s) will investigate this further in the very near future. Hillary Clinton knew what she was doing when she took a stance on supporting N.Y. Governor on giving illegals drivers license because they can register to vote at the same time. Maybe the Dems think there are more illegals registered to vote added in with the Hispanic vote than citizens opposing amnesty for illegal aliens. Hummmm.....

Senate Voted on SCHIP, President Vows to Veto

The Democrat majority in the Senate voted this evening on the SCHIP and hopefully President Bush will swiftly veto this as soon as possible.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate approved legislation on Thursday expanding a popular children's health-care program, setting the stage for a fresh showdown with President George W. Bush, who vowed to veto the bill that would also raise tobacco taxes.

The Senate voted 64-30 for the bill that aims to provide health insurance to about 10 million children in low-income families unable to afford private insurance but who earn too much for the federal Medicaid program for the poor.

The bill would raise taxes on cigarettes and other tobacco products to help pay for the program. The bill goes to Bush who said he would veto it.

The White House said the Senate had passed another children's health bill with major flaws, despite the veto threat.
Last week the House voted 265-142, but it was short the 2/3 majority needed to override the last veto. They are determined to continue to waste time on a bad bill without working with the Republicans and the White House on a compromise for a sensible expansion.

Guess the liberals on Capital Hill ignored President Bush's speech today. After voting on SCHIP, 28 Democrats and 1 Independent fired off a letter to the President on Iran.

The letter stressed no congressional authority exists for action against Iran -- and said the resolution the Senate passed in September, urging Bush to declare the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps as a foreign terrorist group, should not be seen as a predicate for a military strike.
This bunch, the Libs in Congress are dangerous to our country.

*UPDATED* Libs voice their rhetoric after the vote. Dingy Harry wanted to delay the vote to drum up more support, but it drew objections from the GOP.

Hillary Fired Off Letter to Bush on Iran

Desperately worrying about losing supporters, Hillary Clinton, democrat presidential hopeful fires off a letter to Pres. Bush on Iran.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Sen. Hillary Clinton signed a letter to President George W. Bush on Thursday warning he has no authority from Congress for an attack on Iran, setting off a new round of fighting with Democratic presidential rival Barack Obama.

Clinton, battered in a debate earlier this week for backing a resolution labeling an Iranian military unit a terrorist group, joined 29 other senators in signing a letter expressing concern about "provocative statements and actions" toward Iran by the Bush administration.

Democratic presidential rival Chris Dodd of Connecticut
signed the letter, but rivals Obama of Illinois and Joseph Biden of Delaware did not.

Obama instead introduced a binding Senate measure nullifying the earlier resolution. His campaign accused Clinton of using the letter to adjust her stance on Iran.

"While she's trying her best to change her position on yet another critical issue facing our country, Senator Obama knows that it takes legislation, not letters, to undo the vote that she cast," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said. Read More
Not one of these candidates get it, on the danger, Iran poses to the U.S. and Israel. The public is getting a stronger stance on this issue. This is serious business with Iran and the majority of voters know it.
Sen. Jim Webb, a Virginia Democrat and former secretary of the U.S. Navy, drafted the letter and signed it, then gathered the signatures of 28 other Democrats and one independent.
Even though, these Dems go back and forth on Iran, but what will catch up to them overall is their stance on illegals. As more and more find out about how Dems pander to the Hispanic vote and how they sign on to amnesty every chance they get on Capital Hill, this will be the downfall of the Liberals. Keep on supporting the illegal aliens, Libs. Sensible minded Americans are smarter that Democrats give them credit for.

Clinton's Questionable Fundraising looked at by DOJ

"We are at War" says Bush to Democrats

You wonder what will wake up Democrats on Capital Hill? Kudos to President Bush for blasting the Dems along with shady outfits like Code Pink anti-war protesters and bloggers funded by atheist George Soros. These groups are all intertwined in every sense of the word.
Bush said denial that "we are at war" is dangerous.

"History teaches us that underestimating the words of evil, ambitious men is a terrible mistake," Bush said. "Bin Laden and his terrorist allies have made their intentions as clear as Lenin and Hitler before them. And the question is, will we listen?"
Obviously, many in this country has also forgotten we are in a Global War on Terror. The President reminds Congress of the importance of passing needed legislation. Hopefully, they were listening for the sake of our country and the safety of us as citizens.

Wexler (D-FL): Survey - Fund War or SCHIP

Read this Weazel Wexler, Liberal Florida Congressman.

From the desk of Liberal Democrat Congressman Robert Wexler, representing the 19th District of Florida, emails Floridians, including myself, to rally support and test the waters for the misguided, elaborate expansion of SCHIP that Democrats wish to pass that covers more than just poor children. By reading his twisted email, for ones that are not knowledgeable of this bill, is misled. Not only does it leave out key details, but it puts SCHIP in the same category with funding our troops in his insulting survey. Slimy to say the least!!

The Liberal elites are still believing that the majority voted democratic in 2006 because voters wanted to end the war. I disagree with that, but whatever. So as a result, by using the war vs. children's health care in a survey, it would be hopeful to produce justifying results on two extremely important issues. Example: killing two birds with one stone, on feeling the pulses of their constituents.

Not only did Sen. Wexler leave out of his email that the SCHIP proposal put together this time, after the last one vetoed by the President, covers more than just poor children, but it is worse than the last bill offered. Throw in coverage of adults, illegal aliens, incomes three times the poverty level and the encouragement of smoking to pay for it. The bill has lost it's main focus, poor children and legalized children only. Republicans and the White House want to expand the program and they are willing to negoitate, but democrats won't hear of it, it is their way or no way. The Dems even tried pulling a fast one last week hoping to vote to override the veto, while Republicans were in CA helping their citizens during the fires. They still failed on enough votes.

The bill is featured with Democrats as a "do or die bill", they are so desperate to show an ounce of power on Capital Hill that they are going to extremes and not compromising with Republicans or the White House. Liberal politicians are so blinded among their own circles, that they are forgeting the American people are closely watching them and their rating in the polls are in the tank. How stupid is it to couple children's healthcare with supporting our troops in war? I think it is a low blow and they should be called on it with a huge backlash. Below an email from Weazel Wexler.

When the President vetoed the bipartisan State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), I promised to keep fighting to make health care a reality for those 600,000 children in Florida and 10 million across the country. Unfortunately, Congress was unable to override that veto.

However, last week the bipartisan coalition behind SCHIP passed new legislation. This bill still covers 10 million kids while enacting stronger provisions that prevent illegal immigrations from obtaining benefits and ensure that SCHIP only benefits families that cannot afford private plans.

These changes enhance the original purpose of SCHIP – to provide health coverage for kids whose families work hard but simply cannot afford health care. The new bill has been sent to the Senate and will shortly arrive once again on President Bush’s desk.

The White House has said that this bill is too expensive. I disagree. It costs less than $3.50 a day to cover a child through SCHIP, and prevents taxpayers from footing the bill when these kids end up seeking the most expensive care out there – in emergency rooms.

Just this week the President announced plans to ask Congress for an additional $46 billion for the war in Iraq, a war that has already cost Americans almost a half a trillion dollars. Every single day in Iraq we spend $330 million. That means that we could provide 10 million low-income children across the country, with health insurance for a year, with less than the cost of 40 days in Iraq.

I’m writing you today to ask you what your priorities would be in Congress. Please take the time to fill out the survey on the right so that I can better represent you in Congress.

With warm regards,
Congressman Robert Wexler
The four optional choices in the survey consisted of:

1. Congress should provide health care funding for 10 million kids instead of the war in Iraq.
2. Congress should not provide funding for the health care bill, and continue funding the Iraq war.
3. Congress should fund both the children's health care plan and the war in Iraq.
4. Congress should not fund the children's health care bill or the war in Iraq.

These are two separate issues, democrats have no shame. I would say it is a safe bet that this same form letter is being sent out by other Liberals in their districts.

Tomorrow, on Friday another showdown on SCHIP at Capital Hill.
