White House Correspondents' Assoc Dinner

Pres. Bush's Sense of Humor is Remarkable!
It was a BIG HIT!!!!! (smiling)
Last night it was great when FNC flipped over to the White House Correspondent’s Dinner, every year I look forward to that coverage of the President or Laura like last year at the podium. I immediately started laughing out loud and thought how creative from the White House. It was hilarious from the start. Our President with his look-alike comedian Steve Bridges (Bush’s impersonator) played a split personality and performed a skit that was very humorous and I could not stop laughing. It was truly funny, but in a jabbing way at the liberals mainly was the most comical.

It should remind some that our President as a great sense of humor and has a special character, in order to poke fun at himself. That is a positive attribute in oneself. He was full of smiles and laughter as they exchanged roles for what most likely the President is thinking at times and how he mispronounces words, etc. It crossed my mind too, that I bet everyone that is close to our President gets to experience his sense of humor regularly and no wonder the friendships and the loyalty is what it is between them. On the other hand, it is obvious why President Bush dreads this annual dinner, if I were him, I would too, especially when you know in the audience there are people that despise you and say awful things in the MSM and to your face. We all remember not long ago, Coretta King’s funeral, oh was that disrespectful in the worst way. I know the President shakes it off, but I always feel more for our First Lady and what she has to go through. Knowing that has to hurt for Laura having to sit there and hear, with cameras on you, while others try to humiliate her husband. If you get chance be sure to catch the clip. So glad that FNC cut the camera coverage just after Stephen Colbert, from Comedy Central took possession of the microphone from Comedy Central and what came afterwards. Pres. Bush and Laura did not seem amused.

WASHINGTON - It was twice the fun for members of the White House Correspondents' Association and guests Saturday night when President Bush and a look-alike, sound-alike sidekick poked fun at the president and fellow politicians.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I feel chipper tonight. I survived the White House shake-up," the president said.
But impersonator Steve Bridges stole many of the best lines. Vice President Dick Cheney and his hunting accident were targets of his humor on a couple of occasions.
"Speaking of suspects, where is the great white hunter?" Bridges said, later adding, "He shot the only trial lawyer in the country who supports me."
Bush continued a tradition begun by President Coolidge in attending the correspondents' dinner.
He invited Bridges to play his double. The president talked to the press in polite, friendly terms. Bridges told them what the president was really thinking.

Two Senators Blocking Bill Protecting Children

Last night on Bill O’Reilly, John Walsh from America’s Most Wanted was his guest. After O’Reilly’s Talking Points (below) they discussed how this bill has been killed by Reid and Kennedy and it should have been past two years ago. Every day that this bill is not passed, a predator is allowed to hurt more children. Examples were used of Couey and Duncan roaming from state to state, and their horrific crimes against children could have perhaps been prevented if this bill would have been passed. It is time for Senators Reid and Kennedy to knock it off and we need to let them know about it.

Talking Points Memo: Protecting American kids
Why is Senator Kennedy blocking a bill that would protect American kids? That's the subject of this evening's Talking Points Memo.

The proposed law is called "The ChildHelp National Registry Act," and it would mandate that federal authorities keep a database of convicted child predators and child abusers.
Of course, that would help local authorities, who could tap into the computerized information and instantly know who is in the neighborhood. Right now, child predators can roam from state to state, and the cops are blind to their backgrounds.

So... does anyone oppose that proposed law? Anyone? Only fools and people who don't care about kids would object to the national database.

But in the Senate, a vote on the bill is being held up by Ted Kennedy and Harry Reid, the Minority Leader in the Senate. Mr. Reid says that Kennedy was promised a vote on a new "hate crimes" bill, and that's why the child protection bill is not going to the floor for a vote. Apparently, Senator Kennedy wants to attach some kind of hate crime legislation to the ChildHelp bill.

With all due respect to Kennedy and Reid... this is politics at its worst. There is no need to burden the ChildHelp bill with any other piece of legislation. The child bill should stand alone. If the hate crimes bill is a good law, that should stand alone as well.

Here's a no spin message to Senators Reid and Kennedy. Every day that you guys dither around, thousands of children get hurt in America. Every day that local law enforcement does not have the information it should have, predators are more free to rape and kill.

Sometimes the people-the folks-have to send a message to Washington, and this is one of those times. We are posting information on so you can get a message to Ted Kennedy and Harry Reid. If they put the bill to a vote, it will pass; if they continue to hold it up, more kids will get hurt. Simple.

Finally, Talking Points doesn't think Kennedy and Reid are bad men, but they are playing politics with the safety of children, and I hope you'll tell them that is unacceptable. And that's the Memo.

Deputy U.S. Marshals Arresting Scum

Operation FALCON II - Federal and Local Cops Organized Nationally - This massive fugitive dragnet took place the week of April 17-23, 2006 and covered the western half of the United States. As a prelude to National Crime Victim's Rights Week, this cooperative effort removed some of the country's most dangerous wanted criminals from the streets.

Deputy US marshals teamed up with their state, local, and federal colleagues in the largest fugitive sweep to ever primarily focus on violent sex offenders. FALCON II resulted in the arrest of 9,037 fugitives and the clearance of 10,419 warrants. Of those fugitives arrested, 462 were wanted for violent sex crimes, 311 for other sex crimes, and an additional 783 failed to register as Sex Offenders.

Teamwork ensured the success of this seven-day initiative. A total of 793 different agencies participated - 25 federal, 120 state, 330 county sheriffs, 312 police departments, and 6 foreign agencies. Within the Marshals Service, 46 districts participated, including the Districts of Guam and Northern Marianas.

In all, each day more than 2,100 law enforcement officers worked together tirelessly during this record setting operation. U.S. Marshals-Falcon2

IRAN Sharing Nukes and Will Use EMP

This post is comprised of my abbreviations, summaries, and direct quotes of the book Jerusalem Showdown, previously mentioned in my past post archives. The book is very detailed and broken down into sections, I tried to summarize the best I could for this section.
Iran’s plans are to use nuclear weapons against Israel and the U.S. and they are very close to doing just that. Pres. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is also ready to share Iran’s nuclear technology with other Islamic nations including Al-Qaeda. Quote from Iran's Pres. MA “With respect to the needs of Islamic countries, we are ready to transfer nuclear know-how to these countries.” This is going to give the opportunity to terrorist org to use these atomic weapons. Imagine this!! This means suitcase bombs could explode in several of our major cities at the same time. Each bomb could kill up to a million people, if used in a large city. If you don’t think so, former Exe Chief of Strategic Weapons at the Pentagon, Eugene Habiger said that an event of nuclear mega-terrorism on U.S. soil is “….not a matter of IF but WHEN.”

The CIA confiscated records from a computer of
Former Chairman of Pakistan’s Atomic Energy Commission-Dr. Sultan Bashiruddin Mahmood.
He had a bogus charity in Kabul and there was evidence on that computer that at least one Al-Qaeda nuke had been forward deployed from Karachi to the U.S. in a cargo container. The news that two tactical nukes had reached AL-Qaeda operatives in the U.S. was substantiated by Pakistan’s ISI, the CIA, and the FBI in 2001. More proof was revealed with names of U.S. and British agents posing as recruits infiltrated AL-Qaeda training camps and one operative was arrested at Ramallah with a tactical nuke strapped on his back. And the U.S. military officials discovered a lead canister containing uranium-238 in Kandahar at the outset of Operation Enduring Freedom. Paul L. Williams, former consultant to the FBI on terrorism stated the above mentioned as proof that AQ has them.

Williams reports that there isn’t just one team, but at least seven. [They are working in mosques and Islamic centers. In the U.S., a FEDERAL JUDGE WILL NOT provide any FBI or law enforcement agent with a warrant to search a mosque of an Islamic center for any reason since such places are listed as “houses of worship.” The seven areas identified are NY, Miami, Houston, Las Vegas, LA, Chicago, and Washington D.C. The attacks will occur simultaneously at the seven sites.]

Iran is developing or already has something [that is called an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) designed to be used against America in a time of war.

[ Here’s what the EMP does. This electromagnetic blanket does not kill people—it kills electrons. In short, it stops every form of electricity instantly and for months, maybe years. Here’s how it could be used against America in warfare.

A fake satellite crossing over America at the height of 280 miles suddenly explodes over the Great Plains of the U.S., releasing several pounds of enriched plutonium, blanketing the U.S. with gamma rays. Instantly, in one-billionth of a second, all electrical power is cut off instantly.

No lights, no refrigeration will work in our home. Every ounce of food you have will rot in your freezer. Your car won’t work b/c it starts with electricity. Trucks won’t work, meaning transportation bringing you everything you use will stop. All machinery stops. The radio and the television stations will go off the air. Planes that are in flight will crash b/c their electronic systems will fail. The missile systems will fail to function. We will cease to be a superpower in one billionth of a second.] I can relate to a part of this with hurricanes taking away our power for 10 days and other times without power for longer than a day. It was total chaos.

[The President cannot communicate w/his military people in the field b/c the phones will not work. America’s refineries will shut down. There will be no gas and no oil. The gas at the service stations can’t be used b/c those pumps get the gas out of the ground w/ electricity. Computers won’t work, meaning city, state, and government offices will be shut down. There will be a nationwide food and gas shortage within a few days.

This is not new, it has been talked about for 20 years. Only now, rogue states have the ability to put this weapon to use, and it will happen unless Iran and the “axis of evil” are stopped.] I will have to continue this with more very important and interesting information in another post. Note: Our government says Iran can do this and North Korea an ally of Iran has this ability too.

One more thing - [The Congressional Reports read: "Even primitive Scud missiles could be used for this purpose (electronic blankets). Top U.S. Intel officials reminded members of Congress that there is a glut of these missiles on the world market. They are currently being bought and sold for about $100,000 apiece."] One other note: [In one second, we would be living in the nineteenth century.] It goes on to explain how Russia is helping Iran to develop their nuclear weapons..........

U.S. Attorney General Speaks Out

Attorney General Describes Online Kid Porn
WASHINGTON - Attorney General Alberto Gonzales used strikingly graphic language Thursday to focus attention on online child pornography and said Internet services companies are not doing enough to combat the problem.

"It is graphic, but if we do not talk candidly, then it is easy for people to turn away and worry about other matters," Gonzales said in a speech at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in Alexandria, Va.

An Excerpt:
Kate Dean, director of the United States Internet Service Provider Association, said AOL, Earthlink, BellSouth, Verizon and other association members "currently have robust policies in place to ensure that law enforcement can obtain the information they need to prosecute child pornographers."

Dean said the companies would welcome a discussion with Gonzales on the issue.

The Internet companies last year made 34,939 reports to the missing children center, which forwards them to law enforcement authorities, said Michelle Collins, director of the center's exploited children unit.
Last week alone, there were 938 reports, Collins said. Full Story

Crackdown on Women in Iran

Iran Focus: Iran Focus News
TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iranian police said on Tuesday they would launch a crackdown on "social corruption" such as women flouting Islamic dress codes, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.
"In accordance with the law, the police will confront those who appear in public in an indecent and inappropriate way," Fars quoted Tehran police chief Morteza Talaei as saying. "Police will seize women with tight coats and cropped trousers.
"Enforcement of strict moral codes governing women's dress, Western music and mingling of the sexes became more lax after President Mohammad Khatami's election in 1997 on a platform of social and political reform.

Another Excerpt:
The Islamic dress code imposed after Iran's 1979 Islamic revolution requires women to cover all their hair and wear long, loose-fitting clothes to disguise the shape of their bodies. Violators can receive lashes, fines or imprisonment.
Analysts said that taking a tough line on social offences could backfire on the government just when it wants support in its standoff with the West over Iran's nuclear programme.

Tracking Your Children with GPS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Up until now, parents had to deal with a separate company or buy special equipment to track their children through their cell phones. Sprint Nextel Corp. (S) becomes the first U.S. wireless provider to sell its own product when the Family Locator Service rolls out Thursday.

Using the Global Positioning System, the service allows parents to track up to four cell phones over the Internet or on their own wireless device. Parents can periodically ask the service to find the child's phone, displaying the location on a road map.
Parents can also set alerts, automatically warning the parent if the child isn't at a certain place, such as school or soccer practice, at a specific time. Fox News-Full Story

Home Away From Home

Wishing I was home for the holidays. I feel almost like taking another one of my spontaneous trips, feeling overdue here. Relatives of mine are throughout the south, immediate family around Foley and the Gulf Shores area. Wow, I would love to take off Monday or Tuesday, but probably need to hang back for awhile. I hear all the flowers, roses, bushes and trees are in full bloom. (azaleas pictured above) Here everything stays green year round, but miss that smell and feeling of spring. I bet it is beautiful this time of year…… at many of your places. Will get back in the groove with politics and breaking news soon.

Tracing Jesus' Steps

Thousands of Christian pilgrims filled the narrow streets of Jerusalem's Old City on Good Friday, retracing the route that Jesus followed on the way to his crucifixion. The pilgrims packed the Via Dolorosa, the winding path through Jerusalem's walled Old City where tradition says Jesus walked as he carried his cross on the path to his death. Read more.

It should be a No Brainer! It is Illegal

Over the last couple of days, I have listened to MORE debates on the Illegal Immigration Issue. Some of the supporters interviewed, just blow my mind with their ridiculous defense. Not sure if anyone watched “Your World w/Cavuto”, The Big Story-John Gibson, and O’Reilly-Mon and Tues. However, these are several of the topic discussions below.

Voters - Yes, it has been proven that illegals are voting in our Country, which is illegal.

Mexican ConstitutionIn Mexico, an American can enter the country with a driver license but the stay is (30-90 days?) without a special Visa to stay longer if you are caught you could spend two years in jail if there illegal. Protesting there is illegal. If you are not Mexican but become a citizen, you have no right to run for office, become part of the clergy, etc. The Mexican Constitution is very strict when it comes to anyone other than a born Mexican. An expert was on that has studied their constitution – on O’Reilly.
Many of the Illegal immigrants entering from Mexico’s southern border are jailed if they do not pay off the corrupt army, raped, and women tie their breast down to appear as a man while crossing.

Missing Work to Protest- This Looney-Lib woman was on Cavuto defending Illegals not showing up for work that was fired. It turns out the complete plant had to shutdown due to their workers not showing up. She claimed protesting a legitimate excuse for not showing up at all. As Neil said if he had an urge to go to the beach on a warm day, he would be fired too without advance notice of a vacation day. She argued tooth and nail, that they should have their jobs back and the employer should have shutdown due to the protests as many businesses did. Do you think they had a choice, with no workers there?
Don't even get me started on children being brain-washed by Liberal school systems feeding garbage to our youth and encouraging skipping school along with teaching bad things about our President. One taught Bush was Hitler and the latest a teacher in AL showing a disguesting video.

MICHELLE MALKIN was Bill’s guest the other night and click here for the transcript. I agree with her that we should first seal our borders and get our house in order before creating a bill for ones to work here.
I think it's a matter of priorities, Bill. I don't think that we can talk about administering or creating any new guest worker, amnesty type program until we clean our own house.
And our house is a mess. If you look at the
Department of Homeland Security from top to bottom, and you want to talk about comprehensive immigration reform, let's talk about reforming that bureaucracy first.
The deportation system is a mess. The detention system is a mess. We can't police fraud. We can't clear the current backlog of applications at the
Bureau for Immigration Services right now.

Civil Rights AttorneyThis man thinks the borders should be wide-open and let America change to whites being the minority. (Bottom line)

Moussaoui was an illegal with an expired visa. Let us not forget what terrorists are capable of and yes they are crossing our borders.

Maywood, CA- A sanctuary for Illegals!!! – Bolivating Zepplin awhile ago did an excellent post on this. It's Not Just Maywood: It’s the Logical Extension . Also you may want to read this column Desert Dispatch on Maywood . "When the enforcement of the law got in between the illegal residents and their pursuit of happiness, the City Council dissolved the city's traffic department."

Then you see Monday Hypocrite Hillary speaking to the Illegals along with Kennedy and Schumer. They take the stage with their kiss butt rhetoric. From all the numerous debates I have listened to, it is obvious that Far Left is playing up to them and is looking for voters in the upcoming elections and to divide our nation - Illegals vs. American Citizens. Does our voice count? I am truly beginning to wonder.

Rae Ann always writes great posts many in reference to our constitution I suggest checking out her take on this. Click here - No Representation without Taxation .

Lilo has linked with Coalition Against Illegal Immigration . Lilo has the links to their site and they are getting signatures.

I know many others are posting on this issue too, sorry if I left you out but please insert your link in the comment section. I look forward to your opinions on this or a section of it.

P.S. Good - Congress in Washington D.C. and National Public Radio today are reading my blog, great... maybe during their 2 week Easter Break....they will check many of our pulses!!!
Patrick today has a post about the Guest Worker Program and investigations on who is funding these and others.

Kerry "IS" a Cartoon-LOL

Skip School-Protest-Get Credit

See Below.....
Time Stamp, Links and Comments

Article: Washington Post
The Montgomery County schools' decision to grant students community service credit for attending Monday's immigration rights protest is raising concern among some parents as well as activists who say officials should focus on education, not political advocacy.
Montgomery is the only Washington area school system offering students credit for taking part in the event, to be held on the Mall -- a decision Superintendent Jerry D. Weast said is consistent with how the system has operated.
"This is nothing new,'' schools spokesman Brian K. Edwards said about the decision. "Advocacy is allowed."
But in the superheated atmosphere surrounding the immigration debate, the decision is drawing sharp criticism from many quarters. Yesterday, school system offices were flooded with angry phone calls as word of its action circulated among conservative radio hosts.

Say WHAT?? Do the student's get a note that they attended? In my opinion this is ridiculous and I would be an angry parent too? How about me just being an upset citizen about this?

Check out Magnolia's Take...(smiling) I feel she speaks for many of us...
